Anybody tested if the Redists can be installed directly, like in GID? Ex: {app}\Redist\directx_full_redist\DXSETUP.exe?

you don't have to insert any details for archive extraction in the external media section, just leave it blank. use ultraarc, after that, use installer creator, compile setup. then place it in the out directory of ultraarc, the setup will detect records.inf automatically, I repeat, just leave extracting settings blank if you are planning on using ultraarc.
