help!!
I 've installed 5.05 patch and runned the image with daemon and everything seemed to work properly. I can play my previous games but i can't start a new one. It stops loading in "setting up manager shortlists". Does anyone know what can I do!?   Thx in advance |
differences?
whats is the diff between fm2005.mdi and the one downloaded from GCW webbie in which the filename is FM2005CD2.mdf (3-4mb) and FM2005CD2.mds (486b)?
So in conclusion, i open daemon, set the folder, mount image and play right? hmm just a question, if my exe file is the one from SIGames which is the 5.0.5.exe, will it still be playable? |
Where did you get the mdi file from?
|
hmm
i read through all of the posts and i downloaded the one from GCW and it says mds and mdf. i dont have the mdi. is there any mdi? or was it a type error?

Access Denied
I noticed most people (or everyone) get their Football Manager 2005 copy to run with the mini-image provided on the website.
Well it doesn't work for me. And I don't know what the reason this might has. When I mount the mini-image with Deamon Tools (or Alcohol 120% latest version), I am getting the following message when I try to run the game: Access Denied: Please login with administrator privileges and try again football manager. But I am logged in with administrator! Any ideas on how to fix this...? Any help would be nice. Thanks in advance. Regards. |
Log Off from windows, back to the user selection screen and press
CTRL+ALT+DEL twice slowly, you will be able to input a username manually Here type in administrator and log in, hopefully there wont be any passwords involved. |
Thanks DABhand.
But it doesn't work. I have 2 accounts as active users; my personal account (which also has full access). And the administrator account (which of course also has full access). When I try running FM2005 on either one of them, they both result in the same error message posted in my previous posting. So the offered solution doesn't help. :( |
Ouch :\
Then I cant think why it would give that msg if you have administrator rights, and even when using the administrator account. Very Strange |
Yeah I know... Very strange indeed... :S
If I recall correctly, I had this same problem ages ago. Don't know if I am correct. And I don't know which game it was or how I fixed it. :S If anybody else knows how to fix this, please let me know. Highly appreciated. |
