Is this active pZlib? Did you do this?

Example:
[Records]
Precomp=0.38

[Record1]
Type=Split
Source={src}\Data1a.Bin
Output={tmp}\Data1.Bin
Disk=1

Hello guys,

I have two stupid questions to ask you about this really nice software ....

1) Where the hell is located the {src} directory ? ... i tried almost all directory i could to compress my .bin, but nothing worked (i'm getting headaches ^^ ... i watch youtube tutorials, etc... i recall i managed to get something with the IC 2.8 , but the 3.1 won't do what i want, and i don't want to go back to the 2.8)

2) should i install Freearc (v0.666 if i'm correct) in order to get this done ?

Thank you very much for your enlightments ... :o)

have a nice day ....

KaktoR 20-07-2017 02:39

{src} is where conversion is.

simply 20-07-2017 02:59

thank you for your answer.... but i think i'm missing something important....

Where is that conversion folder ? ... i mean, i know where i put the .bin, but how do i tell IC where to look at (i'm not using the internal compression, just the external....)

I know this must be a really really dumb question....

i tried to put the .bin in the {app} folder, and told IC that the source were {app}\data1.bin, but nothing happened... just a setup.exe.... i feel so dumb....

KaktoR 20-07-2017 03:04

{src} = where setup.exe is.
{app} = application folder, where your installed program/game will be installed in.

I don't know much about IC, but maybe you have forgot to link .bin files in IC properly?

simply 20-07-2017 03:10

thank you ... i'll try what i can, i missed something and i just need to know what ...(and i'll know what it is ) :o)

simply 20-07-2017 03:15

well ... i get what i was doing wrong .... i thought IC would RE-compress the .bin ... big mistake.... since it's already compressed ....

i knew this was a dumb question...

There's never a dumb question, its only dumb if you never ask the question
in the first place and keep on making the same mistake over & over again.

I know this is something of a noob question, but how can I change the button graphics to something else? I've been thinking of cobbling an installer with a UI similar to what Rockstar Games uses for GTA V and a couple others.

button graphics a fully changeable

Hi guys, can you help me with these problems?

The first image, prepare all the necessary resources for the installer and all OK. Icons like "Minimize" "Close" and the sound button.

The second image, I checked the autorun and the image speaks for itself, there is also a flaw in the frame (in the editor it looks correct).

JeanC Add to the background image black rectangles where they are minimize and close buttons
