i do all and when i start game i dont see char so wtf :eek:

i did everything you said but when i try and start the game nothing happens

is there no patch for 2.24?
 

my Sacred UW v2.21 has soooo many bugs:
-i have 7 people in my party, and ALL of them are from previously FINISHED quests. (i don't know why they just wont go away, and two of them cause quest failure when they die!! arrgh!)
-numerous unfinishable quests
-random unkillable enemies(i do damage but they seem to be in god mode or something)
just to name a few.

so i want to update to 2.24 but i cant because the 2.21 crack doesn't enable multiplayer and i only play in multiplayer mode so all my saves are there... grrr..!
i hope a crack for 2.24 comes soon.

actually i can play with the original CD but then i couldn't use it in the 2nd computer for multiplayer.. heheh.. so PLEASE PLEASE to those kind expert souls who make these heavenly executables... 2.24! :D

i don't know if it's already known, but the german version (v2.25) works great with a simple nero image mounted in DT4.

the new crack for sacred underworld or gold 2.0.2.21 ......it starts the game alright but all the characters look like stick people its skewing up the game somehow. the game plays fine without the crack. i tried it on 3 computers with the same results and i have been using cracks for years so i no how to use them.......

I'm having problems getting the no cd patch for Sacred Gold (English version) working. I recently bought it from my local store back in January. According to the readme it is saying I have ver 2.24 ASE. I have been trying to use The sacred underworld 2.0.2.22.1 no cd patch. I have followed all directions. The game loads up fine and my characters show up in their right form (instead of stick figures) but when I actually start the game after the intro movie the screen shows up with my character on it then goes black. I checked for the chkfiles.txt but could not find a file named that in the sacred underworld directory. Can somebody please advise me on how to fix it. Please send me an email to [email protected] if you know how to fix this problem. It would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that. I forgot to add that it works fine without the no cd patch. I would like to get the no cd patch working though so I won't have to lug my cdrom drive around to play it. Also, which faq are you referring to? Any assistance on how to get the no cd patch working for this version will be greatly appreciated.

allright... first of all hi to everybody... i read every threat regard this game and i will try to explain step by step my case since i hasnt been able to get the correct version number in the main screen...

1. i uninstall the game, delete the ascaron folder and i run an regclean and advanced uninstaler pro and delete everything from registry of the sacred game and restarted comp.

2. Now im doing the clean install of the sacred game (no updates) at all. and i instaled the pindows media format series 9 from the cd.
Now the orignal sacred.exe properties file of 3.537KB says:
File version - 1.02
language - German (germany)
Product version - 1.02
Special buid description - ENG

3. Ok. Im backuping original sacred.exe & applying the deviance medicine wich contains two files:
sacred.exe 5.848 KB (owerwrriten)
flmod.dll 3.537 KB (new file)
and starting the game. On the main screen it says version 1.02.20 and the game starts perfectly :) ( good old deviance).:D

4.now im deleting the cracked sacred.exe and flmod.dll and puting back the original exe so i can update.

5. Going to start-programs-ascaron- update software and after downloading in the install directory i got the:
1.8.1.21.exe of 130.724KB and in propreties it says:
File version - it says nothing ?
language - English (United States) ? weird!!!!:confused:
Product version - it says nothing ?
and there is no special build description ???

6. ok now my original sacred.exe has 4.055 KB and it says:
above all file version - 1.8.1.21
and in the list:
File version - 1.8
Language - German (germany)
Product version - 1.8
Special build description - ENG

*hmmm now is germany and ENG again*

the M.games or (GCW) doesnt have medicine for this version and google lists 10 or more sites that take you nowhere but anyway im trying to start the game and no luck. no cd in drive. No problem. continue to update.

7.Downloading & trying to install
Sacred PLUS English (US)
(For the American English Version)
*i did this coz the game as i mentioned above automaticly downloaded me 1.8.1.21.exe US version for some reason.* :eek:

*same as before update and thete is no sacred plus name anywhere in the list*

-Maybe it doesnt modyfies sacred.exe when updating to PLUS version-??

10. more updating... now download

uffffff i think i did it ok but the version is not changing so im downloading this

12. Instaling
sacred_eng_1.8.2.6_full.exe 130.576 KB
and now original sacred.exe is 3.888 KB and FINNALY 1.8.2.26 at least in PROPERTIES!!!!:)

13. ok, i will try to crack it now without patching it again with that 10.417KB update.
-backuping entire sacred folder
downloading from GCW medicine that was posted by Safak since i read here that most people succeded with this one

14. first i will try to cure it without using sacred.orgfrom Safak crack but change mine original updated sacred.exe to sacred.org

-change mine original UPDATED sacred.exe to sacred.org
-edit chkfiles.txt and delete entire line( in my case)

copy from crack folder to sacred install folder

run cracked sacred.exe

and on the main screen i get version 1.8.14 and last number is i beleve 6 or its "c" i cant read it well coz my monitor sucks
anyway the game works fine at least at begining coz im playing a new game


i dont know what to do more.... can anybody post us an screenshot of the main screen where we actualy see 1.8.26????.. and is there any diference exept version number in the main screen of PLUS version and normal... i mean what version i have now???? what version is this 1.8.14 and supose that the last num is 6....

anythiong people...i thing i give a good decr. of the problem...too large in my opinion but the worth one

I've been playing Sacred Plus 1.8.2.6 with the no-cd crack for a while in Windows XP. This was on two separate computers. I tried to install it on a third Windows 2000 computer and I'm getting the following error when running sacred.exe after applying the crack:
The procedure entry point RestoreLastError could not be located in the dynamic link lybrary kernel32.dll.
Will the crack only work with Xp?

Search for SND's "RestoreLastError fixer" utility. There are links to it in threads of this forum, too, as far as I remember, just search for "RestoreLastError".

BTW...
I was skimming through the Sacred manual and section 3.1c says that you can make 1 copy of the original cd for use as a backup.
What's the point of giving you that right if the legal copy won't allow the game to start?
