Stupid crack
wont work i extract all files in HF2 folder where steam.exe is located i open ur hijack_hl2.exe but i get just normal steam... i press play game than i press Half life2 than i get a popup like normal steam register product i already own so im nothing father

what's wrong dont get it i tried nocd 1.0 , 1.4 and 1.5

How stupid can a Company be by making a game, that needs an internet connection for single player mode or activation.
I wanted to buy the game, but i don´t have a connection at home. So i´d better spend my money for medal of Honor pacific assault.

Steam sucks! Every Time i want to activate the Game via Steam. I got a Message from Steam that i have connect to the Steam-Network.

I know what your saying and I agree 100% but it only needs an Internet connection to activate, once its activated you dont need to connect to the net to play single player.

for offlinemode i had to disabel my network controller :rolleyes:
maybe it works for someone else

I didnt get so far to activate it! Every time i got an error message from steam.

i am getting following Engine Error when i use the nosteam fix and start Launcher.exe:

CResponseSystem::LoadFromBuffer: Unknow entry type "p', expecting 'response', 'criterion', 'enumeration' or 'rules' in file scripts/talker/response_rules.txt(offset:1)

somebody know what that means?

when i mount the HL2_UK ISO file with Daemon Tools and start launcher.exe Half Life 2 starts but after about 2 minutes there comes the Error about Steam: Connection to Steam Servers lost could not aquire necessary game files.

So that is really curious and i dont know what the hell is the problem in the first case....

I had some major stuttering, freezing, and lock-up problems, but I solved it now...

I have another problem that is bigger than the above ones.
I have some big AI problems with elevators. Yes, I said elevators.
Like, there is the part in the "Point Insertion" chapter, when you run like hell away from the masked guys and they get you. After the screen goes white, you suddenly meet Alyx. Well here is my problem: When Alyx is talking, she is going to the elevator and pushes the callbutton. When the elevator arrives and the door opens, Alyx suddenly cuts the talking and just stays there in front of the elevator doing nothing. I tried everything: pushing the button myself, try to push Alyx in the cabin, shooting Alyx ;) , even tried to noclip down the shaft but nothing happens. This is happening when I arrive at Black Mesa East, when the doc calls the elevator. She shuts up, and just stand there, no matter what I do. She refuses to enter the cabin. This stands for all the levator that need AI operating.

Is there a fix for this? Please help me!

To help you with this error, i (we) need to know where do you got this ISO from.

Now, I haven't seen a definitive answer on this yet...so I'll ask hoping I don't get flamed ;)

Q: Is there any chance to have my Steam account banned if I use hijack's no-cd crack???

I had the same issue of applying this no-cd and it still asking me for the cd. But what you have to do is not only shutdown steam, but restart your pc and DON'T start up the normal steam...(disable "startup steam when windows starts up" before your restart) Then, run hijack_hl2.exe and it should work. It did for me. Thanks hijack. :)
