Music taken from Original Game Soundtrack.

Compression time: About 5 hours (4 cores)
Installation time: 30 minutes
Leave _CommonRedist in game folder



Download and extract the archive to somewhere (over the rainbow~)
Start DiskSpan.bat, type in GameDir, press Enter
Wait for finish
Have fun


As always test before burn on DVD!
Extract archive with WinRAR5+ or latest 7-zip!

Just an FYI with NEW version 275.33 the game is now 127 GB !!! With ALL DLC Content, Just base game is 92GB.
- 55,230 Files, 4,437 Folders
Will take hours to start so suggest starting night & MAYBE by morning will be closer to finishing, but don't expect it to be a short conversion by any means.

There is still possibility to first zip the files (store), then apply compression on it, installing zip file, then unpack it after installing. But that means double hdd space during packing and installing.

Took 4 hours from a 40gb game file and did to dvd9 and got 1x7.69gb file and installs in about 20 mins but stops last few mins install so not good...

Conversion updated!

Compressing should be compatible with all future versions/updates for the game, as I have changed the system on how to create and copy files and folders.

I think you need more free RAM for compression.

Unfortunatelly I never worked with srep options and therefore I can't tell you for sure.

Thank you KaktoR for update conversion.
Compress using SREP + 4x4:LZMA still get 6x dvd5

10:46:25 - PC Will NOT Shutdown After Conversion is Finished
10:46:26 - ISO Images Will NOT Be Created After Conversion is Finished
10:46:27 - You Have Choosen DVD5 Size
10:46:29 - Starting Archive Creation
16:07:15 - Archive Creation Complete
16:07:40 - Conversion is Finished
16:08:29 - Input Size: 189.830g
16:08:30 - Output Size: 24.238g

But when try to install, change the data.bin to continue process install, the installer suddenly close.
Dunno whats wrong?

Use Setup_Fix.7z from first post.

Most probably this problem comes from the setup skin.

I will report this bug.

l64 (minimum LZ match length) consumes about 128 gigabytes of RAM for a 120 GB game.:D

srep:a0:l64:m3f >> rep+srep:m3f:l512:a0

rep reduce RAM usage is 25%
