For HD Texture Pack
Use External Setup.ini with this

Set the External Setup.ini next to the Setup.exe


Conversion is for Steam and GOG so choose Diskspan_gui to change

Anyway, i'd like to recommend all conversion makers to use v2050 from now on.

What is the best compression method? I used the 6 and it takes me 2 hours to install.

The installer has images that are not from the game, please correct them friend.

when you look at the first line you will see that KaktoR compress the Game One language, without HD/4K Packs thats why yours is 59 BY so you have tho Choose you Own Compress method or you Ask others here in the Forum

Replace your Setup.dll with the attachment and install again. No need to compress the game again. There is a missing file inside Setup.dll with the version mausschieber shared (oo2core_5_win64.dll). This should fix the issue.

I detail the steps I do for the conversion:
1- I unzip the file "Middle Earth Shadow of War.rar"
2- I unzip the file that you uploaded "SoW_preconfig.7z" and replace it.
3- I unzip the "Setup.7z" and add.
4- I change the compression method by which you told me "xtool_kraken5 + srep_new + 4x4: b64mb: lzma: ultra: 64m: bt4: fb273: lc8: mc1000000"

Am I doing well like this? :confused:

The Methods.ini file is generated if it does not exist.
If you change DiskSpan_GUI.exe it is necessary to delete the old Methods.ini so that the file with the new settings is created.

yes i have updated my DiskSpan_GUI.exe but Kaktors methods.ini isnt the same as mine so i think thas the issue that Ostallica have but i dont know

What kaktor currently has is a new version with support for XTool 2020 plugins (not yet public).
So if there are no bugs in the "DiskSpan_GUI version [2021.01.22]" (Last page of the CIU thread), I recommend you use it, but before running it for the first time, delete it from the Methods.ini file in the "Resources\TOOLS \DSGUI" folder that a file will be generated with the settings compatible with the version.

as i say before i used the version you posted in thread [CIUv3] Custom Installer Ultimate v3 post 736 but it is different from kaktoR so i'm a little bit confuse

It gave me an error at the end of the conversion process, I think it was in the part where it creates the folders and orders the files on DVD's, I did it manually, and when I ran the installer the game was installed correctly.

Thank you all very much for providing me with data for the conversion, I was able to achieve it. Thank you! =)

Done this for 2nd time with option 5 as option 6 game not instal but does with option 5 and took around 16 mins to install so alls good.

You need bms2xtl for this method (I don't know why DSG is not downloading it automatic).

Use the attachment and extract in the same folder where DiskSpan_GUI.exe is, then retry.
