Benefits of DAO in front of TAO??!?

Reading past threads, I notice you recommend DAO in front of TAO (for example when converting and burning from CDI image to NRG image).

Why?

Dao is better because it burns the whole disk in one session. Whereas TAO leaves gaps between each track.
