Anyone looking to make a trainer/editor or something similar for this recent indie release for the PC (on steam)?

I've been trying to use CheatEngine to get at it, but I am not really well versed at using it, so I can edit my credits, but the game just keeps changing the numbers back. SO, the actual total is stored somewhere else or referencing something else and I am lost from there.

Really, nobody can crack this game? It can't be that hard. I'll take another swing at it with CE. I really suck at using that tool, though. I can change values, but the change does not really "count" in game. It just makes the HUD display numbers change, but not the actual values.
