ABOUT:

- The number of DVD5 depends of you version, with mine (NOT VIDEOS, 2 LANGUAGES AND ONLY SP) = 3DVD5.
- If the conversion create more that three EVL folders, then copy the autorun.inf, setup.ico files from EVL_3 folder to the new EVL folders, and rename the autorun.inf
- Before the conversion move temporaly the original uninstall files.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Install the game.

2. Download the attached file, decompress wherever you want (not in game folder).

3. Run UltraARC.exe, only select your game's installed diectory, the Output folder (The folder where you unzipped the attached file) and wait for Finished.

4. Test and then burn the contents of folders EVL_x.

Thank you very much, commented, the game will remove the following files in the folder 2k Game \ Evolve \ Game
Videos_stage2.pak,Videos_stage3-part0.pak,Videos_stage3-part1.pak,Videos_stage3-part2.pak,Videos_stage3-part3.pak, Videos_stage3-part4.pak, Videos_stage3-part5.pak.
Leaving only Videos_stage1.pak, so the game I stay about 12.8 giga, then reassemble the .cab uncompressed following the order of the script for the 3 dvd files, edit the file records.ini going on dvd 1 that giving this way:

I am Spanish and I did it with google translation, I delete those files from the game, this information I obtained from steamcommunity

@Pichis, basically removed intro videos, menu videos, character tutorial videos. Seems like you've cut out a lot of the game, all depends on end-user of course. Re-written instructions a little better for others to follow ( from steam forum):


Intro - Opened Game Videos

How to skip all the open/load Evolve intros but the one with the skip button.

Goto the Evolve folder in steam:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Evolve\Game

Put a 1 in the start of the names of files:
Videos_stage1.pak - removes all the intro videos
Videos_stage2.pak - removes the menu videos

Some people find only the first file removes most of the videos but by renamingthem both I get the best result.



Character/Tutorial videos

Disabling the in game character/tutorial videos that happen before each match.

Goto the Evolve folder in steam:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Evolve\Game

Put a 1 in the start of the names of files:

Videos_stage3-part1.pak
Videos_stage3-part2.pak
Videos_stage3-part3.pak

ok i have tested so far with no videos all deleted.i used ultra arc and setup that was posted.when game started i just press the skip button and the game goes to main menu i can start tutorial again just press skip button when video was suppose to play.i just had to make sure for the install to work go into the record.ini and adjust where all my cab files where and on which disk make sure if there cab.part files they are pointed to the right disk also.install worked like a dream did a compare of my old install and new install files where identical :D
