Dragon Age Inquisition 5xDVD5 CIUV2
Thanks to Yener90-script, Razor12911-Modifications
1. Install the games. Update game to latest versions, apply NO-CD if necessary.
2. Download Conversion archive, extract to HD not in gamefolder.
2A. MOVE __Installer folder from gamefolder to conversion output last folder.
3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.
4. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.
5. Then burn folder contents to DVDs with same folder name.
DVD1 - 4.36GB
DVD2 - 4.37GB
DVD3 - 4.37GB
DVD4 - 4.37GB
DVD5 - 2.88GB
Deluxe Edition 9xDVD5 ( thanks to wit for sizes )
DVD 1 - 4.36 GB
DVD 2 to 8 - 4.37 GB
DVD 9 - 3.38 GB
Conversion updated to CIUV2, added missing languages, Changed redists to last DVD.

nice tried to do lzma2/ultra only with inno and it barely changed size(25 to 23gb).
Will try to do DVD9 one with UltraARC
error Help Me Plz

:o sorry forgot that when UltraARC got updated to upload new version as the
Original version was used, before a bug was found. Simply download the updated version from first post. Should resolve all your errors.
So, i do exactly as in the first post, all goes well, i get DVD`s the size they are described.
I install from them.And game doesnt start.I use nocd.What i noticed is that game folder is 26262,8M, and the one after installing from conversion is 21462,9M.After looking into them, there are missing files in DATA folder cas_20 and 21 and in data\win32\loc en.sb files (2.8gig) is also missing.
So i am a bit stumped.As DVD sizes match :-/. Any advice ?

Check your UlrtraArc version if its version 2.0 that's the reason, redo conversion only using version 1.1 as V2.0 had issues with missing files.

Will check this error in the program before posting v2.1
So, i did it all over again.Downloaded fresh zip, unpacked it,started ultraarc it said version 1.1.Packed it again.Exactly same outcome.
Installed game size from these Dvds is 21464,2M, lacks those files, and obviously doesnt work.
I was wondering about maybe some incompatibility with ultraarc but i did ravens cry from here which uses the same system ,and it did it fine.Im on windows 7 ultimate x64 i7 5820K 16gb

in middle of re-installing to retest this out, see if I have the errors you do.
So, how it went ? Because i dont know if i have to debug the problem on my side or ist something with the conversion :-)

Eh, i cant get it to work properly.Could you tell me what size is yours gamefolder after installing from this conversion ?
My conversion took 7 DVD 's. Game installed 30GB . Any file to delete ?

when re-ran conversion VS original, there were files missing just like zenonxx had mentioned previously. Until UA can be fixed, tested with no errors/missing files, ive removed the conversion.
As a sidenote, i tried doing Far cry 4 1.8+DLC on 5DVDs using UA, it did the same thing with missing files (although with them as an extra files it still fits 5DVDs). So i hope tool gets fixed soon :)

Downloaded the new installer, unpacked it.Run as admin, first thing i notice, there is no compression set (oh well i probably dont know something), start the compression.
It does it VERY quickly (likely no compression), result is 21464MB installer DATA.
After installing game is 21649MB in size (uninstall.exe is 5mb) and doesnt obviously work.Game im trying to convert is 26261MB. :-/

choose you own compression, I usually use srep, delta, lzma.
its been tested on 2 different PC's & worked 100%. no install/uninstall issues.
Well, i downloaded again the rar file, done everything from scratch, used srep, detla, lzma manually as you specified.After installation game is 21469mb :-/ .The installer works just fine ofcourse, its just that i think ultraarc automation tool is still borked , i tried using it with far cry 4 (the new 2.1v) and it lost few files also :-/.
Compression/install/uninstall works fine, its just the game doesnt work with some files missing.

Hm.I understand.maybe somethings borked with my system.After compression i get the DVD`s size specified in post 1, so maybe they are just unpacking wrong.Is there a way of unpacking directly from freearc ?Also what is the game size for you ?On a side note, Far cry 4 with all dlcs 1.8 should fit 5dvd`s, so maybe do a conversion ;-).Im gonna try to do it in a vurtualbox to eliminate my os.Gonna post results.Also, anybody who used this conversion succesfully please post your results!
Well, i did compression and decompression inside vbox on win7 x86.Same problem.Maybe its something to do with my game version.Inno doesnt lose any files, but it fits it on 6 dvds.
Eng audio+all subs and removed the Bonus folder wich has only the soundtrack then used the conversion with precomp+Srep+LZMA and changed Threshold % to 45 to kick it a bit and got it fit in 4 DVD5

just looked and its older version of UA. Use newer version ( whichever runs on your OS, at present only 2400 runs on mine )
use these settings for dvd5
FirstVolumeSize=4455
CustomVolumeSize=4475
and choose whatever you want to for compression.

Yup, you can make it fit into 6xDVD5 by removing langs and using PRECOMP+SREP+LZMA but it takes forever to compress and installation is slow as hell too
my tests with spanish and english langs end up with 5 x 4.37GB + 1 x 3.29GB.
Removed files size = 8.22GB (Uncompressed)

No need to wait, this version will do it. Remember is uses UA so what you have installed, will be compressed. IF you don't want so many dvd5's then change it to dvd9's ( edit ultraarc.ini, it can be done on any multiple dvd5 conversion that uses UA. )

wit, your welcome, remember you can choose to use dvd9 as well, see this topic for info on how to switch from dvd5 to dvd9 >

Then use that info as a guide as to switch this conversion from dvd5 to dvd9 ( its the first volume size that matters, ( how much space the setup files take on DVD, BEFORE starting the conversion, minus the full DVD size ).
IE if setup file was 50mb then for dvd5 4480 - 50 = 4430 OR DVD9 7950 -50 = 7900
DVD5 first volume 4430
DVD9 first volume 7900
Edit ultraARC.ini before starting conversion to the correct numbers if switching to DVD9
as I don't use that size in any of my conversions.

I made the conversion installs normal but the SinglePlayer_DLCRed folder is not complete with all the files it has 2GB, and after conversion is with 783MB

check the names make sure none of them have weird characters, if they do that's why they aren't there.

The file is missing dlc_red_dungeon.sb is no different character, so much that in the same folder the dlc red dungeon.toc file was created usually having 23.3kb

Update to NEWEST UltraARC ( just the EXE ) then re-run the conversion, its because at the time the version of UA used had bugs, such as missing files, which were corrected in later versions, so use newer UA.

It worked now, thought the UA was the Ultra ARC mod was not, now was perfect.
Here Deluxe Edition got 7 DVD5.

desktop display size is the issue not the installer itself, I went thru all languages & none of the text is cut off on any of them.

I think it wasn't a problem of desktop size because i changed 2 elements of your installer:
width in [textstage]
and shadow in [small installer]
and with resolution of 1920 x 1080 of my pc (it's my standard desktop size) now everything seems fine as you can see below

post what you changed those 2 items to for others who may have same issues.
I changed the value of width in [textstage] to 500
and the value of shadow in [small installer] to 50.

Hmm. One thing. I want to integrate my profile options into the installer. I'd likely add an archive into records.ini but thing is: how to make this last mini-volume extract to My Documents folder? Is the variable "userdocs" like in Inno?

One thing: lack of PL language in installer (supported by game itself!). If you would be so kind to add it, I'd request doing sth about __Installer folder as well - preferably on the last DVD so that I don't need to recompress the entire game (left no space for it on first). Thank you very much in advance for considering.

Conversion now updated to CIUV2, with changes you've asked for. See post 1 for details & new conversion. ( if you compressed game without __Installer files then just replace setup.exe & move them to last dvd )
