INTRUCTIONS:

1. Install the game with all updates and DLCs.

2. Download the attached file and unzip anywhere but not in the game folder.

3. Run UltraArc.exe and choose your own options, but remember:

3.1 Add unins* in the exclutions section.
3.2 Leave enought space in your first DVD for the content of the Setup folder.
3.3 Create .bin files for Windows 10 users.

4. Move the content of the Setup folder to the first DVD.

you make default installation location on "C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims 4". can you make on "C:\Program Files\The Sims 4" please ?

how hard is it to click on custom install & change it yourself ?? The installer is correct with the structure as it is.

i see, we can change on custom install but sometimes you know, many other people if install the programs just insert disc, click autorun and then click next, next and next until finish.

the original game default installer location on C:\Programs Files\The Sims 4\ also like reloaded, HTL Vortex, etc. So if we have update patch example from reloaded we not change the location installer again

the installer is good, i was tested and work normally :)

I also think more correct standardize the installation folder with the name of the company that makes the game so the person installing more than one game from the same company is more organized.

And honestly I do not see the difficulty of doing this during the conversion of the game.

It seems with the newest update the game will not fit on 2xDVD5 anymore. I test a bit around with arc compressions.

edit: Not fit with highest arc compression. Go with m0 and 3xDVD5. srep is not worth it.

And how i would go and do a 3xddv5 from this conversion exactly ?
I tried editing lst files, and doing data3.Conversion went well, it did 3dvds as i specified however installer just ignores dvd3 and finishes after dvd2 :-/ , guess answer is somewhere in the exe file.
On a side note, just for kicks i tried compressing with the new UA 2.1, and it did it in 2DVD`s, it will lack regs tho and i dont know how to make them :)

Thanks! It worked.As for the UA size, it was almost full 2 DVD`s :) .I would gladly see such a conversion tho.

Here are the updated list files for the new addon. Just replace with the ones from first post attachment. It's still 3xDVD5.

Maybe it's compatible with the conversion from houcine too. Just try it.

Hi, as i saw in the 1st post, i have solved a part of my question, i was about to question if games from origin were equal to steam games, no register keys, but i saw they have.

I wanna ask for help to do my own repack from the sims 4 whit others dlcs included, can u help me to find, and add the reg keys to my repack?, i Use installer creator to do them.

Please can u teach me, help me, or point me to some kind of tutorial.

Done & don't be so lazy, Run ultraarc, and set the default items like they should be, stop using a completely blank file & expect newbies to know how to fill them in BEFORE starting to do the conversion.

Thats it, I dont Know how to configue this, need help on this.

Right Now i will use God Please Help me Method, and see what happends

Thats why i ask for help in the registry entries, so i can do my own, this one is nicer, but im clueless the right way to use it, also thats why i ask if some one knows if origin games like this one have registry entries or not, but no one answer me.

Im using crack for the game

Edit: God please help me method doesnt work, after 7 hrs it make me 1 file whit all the game, no plit files.

First thing is rename the Setup folder (from archive post #1 ) to Setup_1
Then replace the ultraarc.ini with the file ive attatched to this post. It should have all the settings you need. Just choose your SOURCE Dir, where the game is & the OUTPUT folder ( where the UltraARC.exe file is ) then hit start & let it compress the game. ;)

yes moves the files, test the install before burning to dvd too.

Try using regedit. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\ and search for Sims or Electronic Arts. Try to edit language there. I'm sure there are language settings.

Will try out with reflate soon, even this conversion doesn't support it (i and i can't inject the functions due to password).

don't bother with reflate, ISS script needs updating before it will work, who knows if Razor' has the time right now too.

reflate seems to be 4xDVD5 too. Bad, what a waste of time. And it takes even longer as precomp+srep+lzma.

I will just stick with m0.
