Lost alpha help

Hi all
I have been on the main stream stalker forums trying to get some help, I hope I may get lucky here.
I have played through lost alpha & would now like to try a modded version.

problem
All my lost alpha file are in Program files and I understand I have to move some to a different location.
I am 74 and whilst I know my way around the PC I am a bit out of my comfort zone.
It is made to sound easy but it baffles me.
Is there any one who would take pity on an old man and walk me through the
process.

I personally don't have the game so I cannot tell you how to go about it.
The reason you possibly have not received an answer via these forums is because you haven't really given us much to go on and have not really explained what it is you do not know how to do?

Is it how to move files that you have a problem with?
Is the problem 'which' files need to be moved?

You say it is made to sound easy, obviously you got this impression via another forum? I presume you have asked about your problems on that forum?

The more information you give us about what you can and can not do will help others to point you in the right direction.
