Based on: CIU 2.0.2 by yener90
Compression method by: peterf1999 and Fabioddq
Art: found online and ingame
Icon: myself
Music: Game OST by Mark Morgan and Miracle of Sound
Tested on: Win7 Home Premium 64bit and Win7 Ultimate 32bit
Final size: ~ 3.30 GB's
CHANGES:
- fixed some minor errors in Setup.ini, added setup version without video background
Since the GOG version, which was used for this conversion, doesn't have redists inside the game folder so I didn't included them in the conversion. Steam users, feel free to copy the Redists folder to your DVD before burning ;)
1. Install the game and extract attachment somewhere on your computer, NOT in the game installation directory
2. Start Compress.bat, enter the path of your installation folder, wait for it to compile
3. Make ISO files or put all Data cabs in the first folder and test before burning

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't ;)

The compression didn't even start for me until I edited the Data1.lst & Data2.lst files, the path was missing the folder "Build" at the beginning for all files in the .lst files, my game's folder structure is "Wasteland 2\Build\WL2_Data"...
After I did those edits it started and I'm currently waiting for it to finish to see if it works.
The convertion give me an error, like
creating archive: .\WL2\Data1.cab
WARNING: no files, erasing empty archive
It asked y/n: y → return the same error, n → exit
My game's folder like @vollachr

Exactly like my problem, just use notepad to open & edit the files Data1.lst & Data2.lst, once opened just Ctrl+H to open the search & replace and type search for WL2_data and replace with Build\WL2_data, save & close, repeat for both files and try again, it should work, currently testing an ISO I created using the fixed files myself.
EDIT:
Well, got a Runtime error at the beginning like I had with another conversion found on this forum at http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p=434301&postcount=13
But the installer doesn't work correctly, I just get a background picture and music playing, no progress bar, no indication of progress except for the green bar on the windows taskbar icon, it seems to be installing though so far.
EDIT 2: Also same "Out of range" errors as with the other conversion, Installer also won't close correctly, it stays on in the background after clicking finish.
EDIT 3: Game won't work, just relaunches the autoplay menu, uninstall works fine.
It seems that there are some errors in compression.bat (goto Data4 w/o Data4, Data3.cab w/o set a list file -n).
Anyway i recommend to work with * in one of the list files to save some time for filelist and include some unofficial files (like nfo files, trainers, and so on)

1. Conversion worked fine on my computer. I'm not a God so some problems may occur on other computers.
2. Error during installation that shows DirectShowPlayer... is probably codec related. I'm using K-Lite codec pack and the movie plays just fine. I'll upload another conversion w/o video during installation.
3. Folder structure which is shown in .lst files is the same as in GOG version. I highly doubt that the Steam version has different folder structure. I've written that it's tested with the GOG version. If I'm not mistaken, that Build folder was in Beta version.

4. I'll upload fixed setup with video also, for the Autorun issue.
5. Data3.cab will include everything that is not included in the Data1.cab and Data2.cab, so you can put whatever unofficial files you want.
There will be no need to do the conversion again. Just replace the fixed Setup.exe once I upload it ;)
I got an error message:
htt p://someimage.com/haU4tFd
The movie & sound still playing background but have nothing except uninstaller.exe inside the other custom game folder.
The installation didn't work so i don't know if there is a runtime error or "out of range" like @vollachr mentioned.

Fixed Setup.exe, now it will show proper exe file. Added versions with and without video background. Installed the game again, just to see again if it works. Installed without problems. See screenshots. If you've already made conversion, just replace Setup.exe, no need to do conversion again.

Looks like I may have really had the beta or something, got the GOG version and the conversion seems to work perfectly, could be the runtime & out of range errors were due to incompatibility with the version I had, don't know, anyway, at least the installers seems to display correctly & the runtime error didn't happen this time with the GOG version, still installing from the ISO though.
Love the installer design btw.
UPDATE: Finished installing, no errors, game runs & works fine.
Thanks again.
