I am sorry If its not the proper place to ask the question...But i dont know where to put this question bcoz its not related to game compression , its just about compression.

What is the best way to compress images (.jpeg,.BMP, .gif, .png,.psd) for minimum size after compression..

The fileminimizer resizer the image. Losing quality.
Remove the black points.

For compression of JPG files for use in installer think it might be useful the PackJPG using comand line. The version 2.4 make executables files.

PSD 7z,rar,zip,arc & bla bla bla
BMP my use Gimp :)

psd - open a psd and hide all layers and save..then compress with arc..u get better compression than all layers visible
