Two Worlds II Epic Edition (Game + Castle Defense Addon) - 1xDVD5 *CIU v1014 - English Only*

Based on CIU 1.0.1.4 by yener90; Compress.bat based on Peterf1999's method; Graphics by Sentinelks > AWESOME JOB !!!
As Requested by Dx30.

1. Install the game. Download attachment and extract (not in game folder);

2. Run Compress.bat, type your game directory and wait for Finished!

3. Make ISO and test before you burn.

NOTE:

There ARE issues uninstalling on SOME systems, either using uninstall from Start Menu or Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
Always works to uninstall if you use ISO image to uninstall from.

Also IF you haven't installed Castle Defense, delete Data4.lst & extract the file from Compress_NO-Castle.rar & Run that batch file rather then Compress.bat in Original Archive. Also delete setup.ini from Disk1 folder BEFORE making ISO, if you've d/l archive before.
Ive re-uploaded attachment without that file

Updated EXE's - Replace in Disk 1 folder from Updated-exes.rar
Now Supports 5 languages .

Hey pakrat.
Thx for posting it :) . Been waiting so long to get this game of my hdd.
It seems it won't be so easy after all ....When i run compress.bat, i get this error (pic is bellow). What could be the issue here?

too many copies of that file, will re-upload package.

in the meantime, edit compress bat & change the first line with -srep to

Ok. Did as you told me... now i get another error,after almost 90 mins, during creation of cab4. I will upload image again. I swear this game will hunt me in my dreams lol.
EDIT: hey i just checked the disk1 folder created during compression....... and its 4.23 gig big. Why did it try to create a cab4 if there is so little room left? Maybe cab4 was supposed to be just ~100mb in size.... for a compressed castle defense?? That could explain why it says no files.... since i didn't install it ;)

oops... forgot to mention that to you, as you had said in PM's that you hadn't installed Castle Defense.

Does the fixed files you uploaded fix the issues i have had today? I mean do i still have to edit the bat file and replace & remove stuff from it?
I will have to do the conversion again tomorrow because i accidentally deleted the disk1 folder :mad:

The only thing 'new' is Ive uploaded a new compress.bat file for those who don't have castle defense installed.

You still need to delete data4.lst from folder then extract the file from Compress_NO-Castle.rar & Run that batch file rather then Compress.bat in Original Archive. ( it will skip creating that last archive & giving the error message.

i have a german version, i edit the Data3.lst file ( voice_eng.idx to voice_ger.idx etc ) and i run Compress_NO-Castle.bat

oops... setup.ini should not be in ISO, its included internally in setup.exe, thats why the runtime error.

will have to create installer for velvet edition, which is for more languages as epic edition is only for english only.
Velvet edition is for English, French, German, Spanish, Czech, Italian, Polish, Russian languages.

i delete setup.ini and create a new iso.

and now it works.

Sentinelks did an awesome job with the graphics. I played around with the compression & settings until I could get it to fit on 1xdvd5. Original game wasnt too much over limit but enough to be a pain to get everything reduced enough to fit. And having to update from original version 8574 -> 1014 BEFORE the component settings would work properly was a HUGE pain in the a$$.. I spent an entire week playing with settings before just upgrading ISS script to latest I had, then it all worked perfectly with how it was set from the beginning. ( Yener will need to be notified of that issue, that more then 2 exe's doesnt work with earlier versions )

Good work and beautiful installer. Thanks to pakrat2k2 and everyone who help him.
I've found a little "bug" in installer: in the folder selection window, the last word of the upper information text ("Browse") is under (or over, I don't know) the installation folder line.

oh my! I have not noticed the version of the CIU, in fact it is the last work I did with this script, I did not know the code Bug or say old, but looks like a great script even if smamllinstaller looks like a punch in the eye according to the caliber of this scipt .. I think it should be greatly involved in graphic design is too archaic for a complex graphics work

download the updated-exes.rar & extract into disk 1 folder. Overwrite original exes, now has option for 5 languages.
