usb sbox not working

I installed my sbox and the psx back ups work but the ps2's won't work. The bubbles on the gameshark screen are supposed to stop moving when you insert the back up but they don't. An ideas anyone

Be sure the modchip is turned off, load the gameshark2 , (wait until you see the screen that says start game, with, without codes). Turn on the modchip, select start game then select without codes, swap disc and press O+R1 game should load. Some games do need to be patched for them to work. see the list of games that require patching at www.ps2ownz.com

Thanks alot dude. The o + r1 was my problem but now it goes to the loading game screen and never loads. Any Ideas?

what game are you trying to load, some games require patching to work.

any game. I have tried oni, super bust a move and dark angel.

I have a copy of oni so i know it doesnt need patching. what software are you using, are you copying from original games or downloaded files. The PS2 backups should be copyed the same as PSX games so if you are not having any problems booting PSX backups then i would think you are copying them correctly. Go to www.ps2ownz.com on the lower left of the screen you will see s-box,usb mod swap.
