Sleeping Dogs

So... I have problems with my Copy of Sleeping Dogs.

I installed the game, installed all Redistributable packages that came with it (DirectX, VCRedist, Physix), installed latest Graphic Card Drivers. Nothing works...

Even using No-CD fixed files didn't do the trick either...
Game won't start at all. Nothing happens. Process does not get started and it does not appear in Task Manager.

Win7 x86 (without service pack, normal Win7).

Anyone with same/similar problem?

Same here may be it a service pack problem hope when the service pack 1 for win 8 launched by the microsoft will solve the problem but at the end u stick to win 7 sp1

Well, that's the thing...

I tested the game on Friend's computer. It works. Same OS, same set of Apps, updates...
Installed the game in same way I did on my comp, same redists... Everything same.
His Windows is same as mine (literally, I maintain his PC) and game works on his PC...

He also does not have SP1.

Try sp1 for windows u will easily get from microsoft sites hope this will solve out the problem
