V1.21 - Fonts are modified.
V1.21Script - Some regkeys deleted to prevent problems with game updater, thanks yener

V1.23 After 292th download - Regkey updated, compatible with V1.04 and latest DLC, thanks to mikey

V1.24 - Regkeys updated, conversion is know compatible with V1.05 and latest DLC. Thanks to pakrat for regkeys

Instructions:

1. Install the game.

2. Move Support folder's content to DVD3/Support. (It's in your retail DVD, Move UplayLauncher to Support and delete it's folder.)

3. Download Base Pack,
Download Installer Script, V1.04 for V1.04 of the game, V1.05 for V1.05 version of the game.

Put installerscript.iss in Conversion folder. Open it and edit following line according to your game's installed location:

#define ProgramFiles "F:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Assassins Creed III"

Save it and compile.
Conversion may take 30-40 minutes depends your hardware.

4. Move:

-Autorun.exe, Setup.cab, Setup.exe, Setup.ico, Setup.ini to DVD1
-All Setup-1*.bin files to DVD1
-All Setup-2*.bin files to DVD2
-All Setup-3*.bin files to DVD3


5. Test the conversion before burning.

DVD SIZES:

-DVD1: 4.33GB
-DVD2: 4.27GB
-DVD3: 3.92GB

OPTIONAL: Alternative Background for Setup, and alternative progressimg (for installation screen):

To change them, go to Setup.cab/Setup and change names of *_altern images to actual ones. (I recommend to rename current ones to something else, before renaming alternative images to main ones.)

The tola size of languages is 1.5GB approx. Total size of multiplayer folder is 4GB approx. Considering available size in second dvd, i assume it's not possible to fit the game 1 lang + multi in 2xDVD5.

with my install fresh install and the update applied i tried reapplying the update it said this version is already updated. which tells me it works perfect with originals disks.

after i did conversion and add the 1.01 regkey u said to add in reg part of the script and installed the game from conversion i tried to reapply the 1.01 update it said cannot find version which means there is a problem with it picking the updates update and future updates. hope this helps.

Yeah, it was Batman Arhkam City conversion, i told that redist is not working properly in last DVD.

I'm compiling the conversion now, will update the thread in 30 minutes appro.

I tested conversion with Support folder in DVD1, and unfortunately, with Support it will not fit in 3 DVD5, and you have to burn 4th dvd for 150mb which is stupid.

So, you have to install Support contents manually, there's no other solution, sorry.

Depends the game. Most of the games need to be installed before splitting them, aka INNO Setup way. Splitting cabs are almost impossible now because they're using new version of IS. AC3 was an exception.

i gave ur script another go just to test.it still does not pick up the game as updated to 1.01 is still says version can be found if i try to reapply the update but if i used my reg that i posted earlier in the script it picks up the update by saying this version is already installed.

i also had that issue with language beening in different language after conversion so i just removed all the language from the registry in script only left eng as i only need it in english and then is worked fine.mine was launching in swedish i think(SW)

i used english on my installation, did work.

I just edit "localization.lang" file in Installation directory and delete everything...and type "eng"...

save and all done

its converted in eng.

Ok, no sure what problems people are having. As far as i've tested this works 100% on Windows 7 64bit English. The directx and stuff doesn't auto install, but the arguments are not right that's why. put /silent for directx, and I put /q:a for vcredist. This works for me.

Its missing the proper value for "info", thats why you get the 'compatiblity error' when trying to install an update.
Of course IF you dont have the other versions installed / updated then remove them from above lines.

Edited some lines in registry section prior to v1.06. Compile using lzma/normal.

DVD1 : 4.33GB
DVD2 : 4.27GB
DVD3 : 3.28GB (Incl. Support Folder)

Tested install, play and uninstall on Win7 Professional x64. Works fine, no error.

Cool BG music and video during installation. Installation took ~25min for me.

Hi everyone.I am a newbie.please guys i downloaded assassins creed 3 compressed and extracted it with kgb extractor but the setup.exe is corrupted but other files are fully intact from data-1.bin to data-5.bin.Without the setup.exe,i cant extract these files.please can anybody send me his assassins creed 3 setup.exe file or is there any other way i can extract the game from data-1.bin to data-5.bin.It really took me hours to extract the game and am sad i cant play the game.Please help a brother.Thanks everybody.
