InstallerScript CI 8.5.1.1 by yener90 compression lzma


1. Install the game


2. Download the attachment, extract completely (wherever you want)


3. Open InstallerScript.iss


Edit the following lines, according to the installation directory of the game.



#define SourcePath "C:\Program Files\Aspyr\Dark Sector"


4. Save and compile


5. Will create folders, Disk folder inside the "compiled":


Move to the Disk:



Setup.exe
Setup-1a.bin
Setup-1b.bin
Setup-1c.bin


Burn the contents of the folder to a DVD with the label you want.

mesut...i have a problem...my conversion make a 2a.bin....my game have 5.48 GB...
i don't know what wrong i do... i try to change the compression but without successful...

in this game it's difficult because i don't know what is the language files....

not that hard to figure out, only gave 2 choices on setup, eng/fr.
look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Aspyr\Dark Sector\Cache.Windows
you want english only delete *_fr.cache ( 5 files ) but not much of a saving only 160MB.

Also need to copy redist folder to Dark Sector conversion folder. AND change Compression=lzma to something with more compression if you want it on 1xdvd5

EDIT: Needs minimal Directx to fit fully. :o I copied wrong DX folder over thats why it didnt fit. :rolleyes:

in directx folder delete all 2005 and 2006 files for more space

i copied over full version rather then the minimal DX folder I have saved elsewhere. oops, my bad it fits fine now.

I delet the files with .fr and fits fine....thanks people...^^
