InstallerScript CI 8.5.6.2 by yener90 compression lzma


1. Install the game


2. Download the attachment, extract completely (wherever you want)


3. Open InstallerScript.iss


Edit the following lines, according to the installation directory of the game.





#define SourcePath "C:\Program Files\CD Projekt RED\The Witcher 2"


4. Save and compile


5. Will create two folders, Disk 1 Disk 2 Disk 3 and Disk 4 folder inside the "compiled":


Move to the Disk 1:




Setup.exe
Setup-1a.bin
Setup-1b.bin
Setup-1c.bin



Move to the Disk 2:



Setup-2a.bin
Setup-2b.bin
Setup-2c.bin



Move to the Disk 3:



Setup-3a.bin
Setup-3b.bin
Setup-3c.bin



Move to the Disk 4:



Setup-4a.bin
Setup-4b.bin



Burn the contents of the folder to a DVD with the label you want.


Total Size:

Disk1 4.36 GB
Disk2 4.34 GB
Disk3 4.34 GB
Disk4 2.48 GB

I have tried this conversion.
Witcher 2 folder with Enhanced patch installed and upgraded at 3.3 version is 17,6 GB big.
I also deleted some foreign languages file, like:
outro_xx.usm
intro02_xx.usm
where xx is pl, ru, fr, de ecc
only one speech (english)

when the script finished I have Setup-1abc, Setup-2abc and Setup-3ab
DVD1-> 4,34 GB
DVD2-> 4,34 GB
DVD3-> 2,78 GB (whitout redist)

only 3 DVDs, how its possible?

That's because this conversion is for full game by default. Don't remove those foreign language files and you will get 4DVDs.

the removed files were 1GB in total

I have installed now from iso created. Seems ok, same dimension
I'm trying to play now to test if something has been lost...

UPDATE
Luncher doens't work. I have restored reinstalling 3.3 patch
