1.- Install game.

2.- Download attachment archive and extract in a temp folder.

3.- From game Disc copy AMD_DCOptSetup.exe, gfwlivesetup.exe, PhysX_9.08.14_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe and vcredist_x86.exe to Disk1 folder
and unpack directx_aug2009_redist.exe (i use winrar) and move all files to Disk1/DXRedist folder.

4.- In game folder, in the path BmGame\CookedPC, move Maps folder to temporal folder.

4.- With freeArc compress all folders and files inside to the game folder:

TAB-->Main
Output Archive: Data2.cab
Compression: No compression: -m0
Make EXE: not checked

5.- Compress Maps folder:

TAB-->Main
Output Archive: Data1.cab
Compression: No compression: -m0
Make EXE: not checked

6.- Restore Maps folder to game folder.


8.- Move .cab files:

Data1.cab ---> Disk1 folder
Data2.cab ---> Disk2 folder

9.- Make ISOs (label Disk1 and Disk2) test before you burn.

DVD1 = 3.93 GB
DVD2 = 4.26 GB


Note: i fix a custom message, in spanish, about "DelSaveGameFold=Do you want to keep save game?":

was ¿Deseas mantener a juego guardado? and changed for ¿Deseas mantener las partidas guardadas?

Conversion with internal compression

1.- Install game.

2.- Move your original uninstall files (if exsit) in a temporal folder.

3.- Download attachment archive (BAA.GOTY.rar) and extract in a temp folder.

4.- From game Disc copy AMD_DCOptSetup.exe, gfwlivesetup.exe, PhysX_9.08.14_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe and vcredist_x86.exe to "Redist" folder and unpack directx_aug2009_redist.exe (i use winrar) and move all files to "Redist/DXRedist" folder. Put Redist folder in a temporal folder.

5.- Open InstallerScript.iss and change the first line according to your game installation path:

#define ProgramFiles "C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Enix\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY"

6.- Press Compile and wait.

7.- Move to:

Setup-1* files, Setup.cab, Setup.dll, setup.exe and Setup.ini --> Disk1
Setup-2* files --> Disk2
Setup-3* files --> Disk3
etc.

8.- Move "Redist" folder to the last Disk (Disk2 or Disk3).

9.- Restore original uninstall files

9.- Test conversion before you burn. Use any label disk.

With sharing your CI, the number of "converters" will only rise :D. Even I'm planning to make a conversion in the future (Civlization V + Gods & Kings) if I learn how to do that :confused:. I see the conversion looks well. What really impressed me are the background autorun & wallpapers used in the setup... and DAT FONT :cool:! I see someone really put some heart in his conversion.

Hello, i was use a DVD game version, have 7,77 GB in HDD and fit in two DVD's whitout compression.

Try with tis compression:

- Ultra (require 2 gb RAM for decompression): -mx -ld1600m

- Maximum (require 1 gb RAM for decompression): -mx -ld800m

- High: -m7 -md96m -ld192m

Or i have post a conversion without external compression, but i need search the script and find.

just change in script #Define Internal to ;Define Internal
and remove the ; Define Programfiles.... from in front of line ( top of script )

Hello, i checked the file "InstallerScript.iss" with Inno Setup 5.5.4 Unicode and i had the same messages to you, however, the conversion worked well.

Sorry, i do not know what would be the problem.

the WARNING MESSAGE is in INNO Setup 5 default.isl ( English )

ErrorCloseApplications=Setup was unable to automatically close all applications. It is recommended that you close all applications using files that need to be updated by Setup before continuing.

BUT in the BAA.GOTY/Languages folder ALL the isl files do not have this message in them at all, so it reads that warning error message from the default.isl from INNO. It still will NOT cause any problem with the conversion, use the latest version of Inno Unicode to compile properly, IF you followed steps correctly.

Tested on Win7 Professional x64. Install, play, and uninstall all works fine.

Made conversion using internal compression. Will fit into 2xDVD5 if game folder is less than 8.6GB :D

Game v1.1.0.0 + DLCs [ENG Language Only]. Compile ~10min. Installation ~5min.
