History

V1.00 - First Release.
V1.01 - Current (After 60th)
Added:Japanese, Polish, Portuguese support.
Fix: Songs from Game OST and Intro
Darker Small Installer background, red progress bar to see numbers better

1. Go to installed game's folder and move redist folder to somewhere else.

2. Go to ''Borderlands 2\WillowGame\CookedPCConsole'' and delete language folders which you don't want.

3. Download the attachment below. Download also the fix, and overwrite it. Open installerscript.iss with Unicode version of INNO and change the following line according to your game's installed location:

#define ProgramFiles "E:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Borderlands 2 1DVD5"

4. Create 1 folder, name it as B_2

-Setup.cab, Setup.exe, Setup.ico, Setup.ini, Autorun.exe, Autorun.inf to B_2

All Setup*.bin files to B_2

5. Now move redist folder back to B_2.

6. Burn content to DVDs, and enjoy installer music pack during install.

Alternative: You can remove video.avi if want, in that case, you'll see only background, instead background and video.

FINAL SIZE: 4.05 GB (It may be different according to your installed content, DLC and language files)

V1.01:
Added:Japanese, Polish, Portuguese support.
Fix: Songs from Game OST and Intro
Darker Small Installer background, red progress bar to see numbers better

If you already made the conversion on previous, download updated conversion and only overwrite Setup.cab and Setup.ini.

REV0, if I may have a request -- could you please do a similar installer for the original Borderlands? Thanks in advance for considering.

Where this file is video.avi!!I didn't able to find it and there is no video in installer!!!

It's in the Setup.cab/Background !!! It will be played during installation, not in installer !! Make sure you have codecs installed !!!

I tested it over 5 time and works well !!!

Nice work!! Tested on Win7 64 bit.
Fast, easy and good installer graph.
Compile time 20 min, installation time only 10 min!!
EDIT : IMHO : hint for next time , make optional the installation of Directx, Redist and Framework

Thanks for feedback gents

hint for next time , make optional the installation of Directx, Redist and Framework

It's already optional, if you dont have them will skip during installation. You should have this result in setup (Actually more):

No music during installation after video has finished playing. Shouldn't it be in Background folder of Setup.cab or something?

It plays normally and music.mp3 is exist in right place. Maybe it was a one time bug ?

Your conversion is great, but the game doesn't work. Original works, but game from the conversion doesn't. The intro repeats itself & the main menu won't show. I'll try peterf1999's conversion.

hey Revo, don't mean to be downer again, but I noticed another 'click next...' error on the custom-install screen :( Maybe fix it in v1.02?

I'll check it, currently making another setup job so cant touch anything :D

BTW, do you have any errors during the play ? Like user said before your message:

Gonna make conversion second time to see this error

Edit from the future:

No errors on installing and playing the gamei Kamyk. Make sure you deleted correct folders. It runs OK.

no errors here - maybe they botched something in the gamefiles?

Ah I see it's taken care of :)

Very good & fast conversion. Works 100% in Win 7 64 bits.

OK, now it works great. Previously I removed too much files from other languages (like documentation among other things) not only the one that you wrote.

OK. I established why the music was missing. One MUST compile the installer in Inno Setup ONLY, never in Inno Script Studio which is what I did last time by accident.

Upon installing the newly released DLC, it may be needed to remove some of the redistributables in order to fit into a DVD5. And that is with compression changed to lzma2/ultra64.

Great work with this, REV0. :)

May I request only English and Japan language conversion please?

Follow steps from senseman's topic (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=93553) except deleting Japanese folders.
