*Setup supports these languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, French, Russian.

History

V1.00 - Current Release
V1.01 - Setup.rar: It's updated setup.ini according to game's components (DX, VC++ etc).


1. Go to installed game's folder and move support folder to somewhere else.

2. Download the attachment below. Download Setup.rar and overwrite setup.ini. Open installerscript.iss with Unicode version of INNO and change the following line according to your game's installed location:

#define ProgramFiles "E:\Program Files (x86)\F1 2012"

3. Create 2 folders and name them as F12012_1 F12012_2. Move:

-Setup.cab, Setup.exe, Setup.ico, Setup.ini, Autorun.exe to F12012_1

All Setup1*.bin files to F12012_1
All Setup2*.bin files to F12012_2

4. Copy autorun.inf and Setup.ico files to all F12012_* folders, edit autorun.inf like below except DVD1

5. Now move redist folder to F12012_2.

6. Burn them to DVDs, and enjoy.

ADDITIONAL: If you have different content in support, add or modify them in setup.ini.

to solve rename using winrar the folder "F1 2012 " -> "F1 2012"

The winrar extract 2 folders but content was working fine. I re-uploaded winrar people, it should be OK now.

Also Autorun.exe fixed

....also i dont see the setup.dll

It works without Setup.dll, i'm testing it

I updated Setup.ini because apparently game doesnt have VC++ nor framework also it uses 'support' instead of 'redist'. Download updated setup.rar and overwrite it on the conversion.

For those who made conversion already, should just overwrite the ini file, no re-compile necessary. If you burned them to DVDs, setup will pass over them, no errors.

When you download from steam, it's already one language, and with this it's 7.46 GB approx.

Also, 3.00GB is bik files, another 3 is game's tracks... Biks can be resample however, it wont possibly fit on DVD5 even with these circumstances.

I have to contradict you REV0! :p
In this case the compression is really good and 1xDVD5 is possible with only one language and without bik resampled.
With only italian language I still have 25mb free in my DVD5 and, if you want more, you just need to resample only the bigger bik (or only the two biggest) (at 50%, multi-tracks untouched) and you got at least another 150/200mb of free space! ;)

I'm doing the conversion but i need time to the gfx of the setup because i'm not really good with gfx! :(

Well, good luck with bik files then, i prefer to keep everything 100%, resampled bik files looks secon quality rips to me.

Yeah, you're right, i agree but unfortunatelly, as you wrote, for more space it's the only way! :rolleyes:
They look good if you compress them at ~90% and not more but in this case you have to resample too much files for too much time. :(
