Hi,

I was wondering on what is everyone's opinion on what is the best modchip now. I've heard that NEO4 is the best now.

Also, I want to get my Jap PS2 modded, are there any good recommendations (a good place on the net?)

Thanks

NEO4 is crap - 44 wires and doesn't play import originals. Search the Forum on my November posts and you'll see my report on the OrigaChip for Jap PS2.

Also is NEO4 JAP available? The upcoming Messiah isn't available and Jap version will be more than a month after PAL launch.

Do come back to us to "talk" this through after you've had a little look at the relevant OrigaChip web sites:

####://www.madeiragames.com (UK distributor)

I have a Jap PS2 SCPH-30000.
I see the Origachip is probably the best right now.
I have but one more question, where can i find a quality and trustworth fitter? Any suggestions?

Thanks

If you are in the UK, then Madeira Games.

If you are in one of the countries with an official distributor, then see the Origachip website.

Otherwise any PS2 repair workshop (can be found on the web under "ps2 repair") will have the skills. 1mm solder tip & wire.

Keep us posted.
