Silent Hill Homecomming DVD9 to 1xDVD5
1. Install game + any updates cracks etc.
2. Download archive, extract to HD NOT in Gamefolder
3. Edit ISS script & change line #1 to match YOUR gamefolder
3A. I used SHORT gamefolder name, IE: c:\Silent
4. Output will be in Compiled folder.
5. Burn Contents to ISO using any label.

An error occurs at the end of the installation:
"Line 458"
"Out of range"
Something in the index of array of backgrounds images!
Any solution?
Thanks for this conversion!

I'm trying again, but the error occurs before finalizing the installation.
Occurs in this code snippet (line 458):
bgImage.bitmap.LoadFromFile (expandConstant ('{tmp} \' + names [c]. name));
I tried to understand the code and modify the index, because the error is exactly this - out of range - when changing background images!
I'm trying again, let's see if it will fine this time!
Thanks for giving me back! :D

If I try to install from the setup generated file - with Inno Setup Compiler closed - the error does not appear, but the installation does not finish, this fall into a infinite loop!
But despite the problems the game is all installed, but the uninstaller is corrupted!
I'm trying again!
More Thanks!

I'll have to dig out the files from collection & double check it, im sure I never had any issues, but will post back once Ive tried it. ( just moved so things are all over the place & not 100% sure where everything is atm )
but at least make sure your compiling with ansi version of inno & see if that helps.

I'm using the version 5.5.3 Inno Setup - the "normal version" available in official site, must be a ANSI version, since Unicode version generates errors early in the compilation process! There is another version?
Yes, I am using the path C: \ Silent, short one
The build is good, all files generated with no errors! The problem is only at the end of the installation! A very weird thing!
Sorry for the inconvenience! :o
I'm using Windows Seven x86 with administrator rights

Yes, so I'm using the ANSI version of the Inno Setup! As said before, the UNICODE version now generates errors early on compiling!

while compiling make sure that no other applications are running in background. IE make sure not downloading anything, or any process that takes up cpu processing, also make sure temp folder is empty. I have had errors before when I was doing too much all at the same time, & creation of files caused errors when install / uninstalling.

I'll try this compilation more times and let only the build process running!
Below I am attaching the build successfully and the error at the end of the installation!
The error does not refer to the game files, but it's in the array of background images!
I'll see what I can do!
Again thank you! :)

This time the conversion was successful and I install the game without any problem! Worked like a charm! XD
I left the compilation process as a high priority and, although changing the value of the variable to C to 0 value, I think it did nothing!
Thank you for your attention and continue with the great scripts that you create! :D
