1: Install the game

2: Download attachment GRFS 3xDVD5,extract completely (wherever you want)

3: Copy Support folder from DVD9 to DVD3

4: Install All patch (1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4,1.5,1.6,1.7)

5: Go to install directory/Sound_Bin_PC,Delete the following 16 files from temp folder

localized_French_stream.sndbig

localized_German_stream.sndbig

6: Open InstallerScript.iss in DVD1 folder using Inno Setup,UNICODE version need to be installed on your system

7: Correct the install directory "D:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier" to your one and compile or (Ctrl+F9)

8: After compile,Run clean_up.bat and Burn or make iso with same label names of temp folders

Install Sequence: DVD1-DVD2-DVD3

DVD1 = 4.36 gb
DVD2 = 4.34 gb
DVD3 = 3.07 gb

All it's ok in italian language (I have deleted the others foreign languages, spanish, english, french and german), but if I want to install the game in Italian (the default of setup is English) I needed to change the line 8th in Setup.ini of the dvd1 in this way:
Lang=en to Lang=it
(I think it's the same for others languages)
Open the setup.ini with notepad and save after changes

All is ok with Win7 64bit Service Pack 1

Thankyou So Much for this, I have just tried it, Worked a CHARM! then I made Iso's, mounted them and Installed Game, also updated to 1.2 - I wasn't sure if anyone would respond, so Senseman I am most grateful for the time you took to do this. Kind Regards

MAXGOLD20, you could have also updated game to 1.2 THEN done the conversion, saved yourself 1 step from running update after conversion installation. But either way at least you got it done :)

I did as you ,exactely, did but I leave only french and deleted all the other languages.The problem is there's no audio sound when playing the game except the intro.

Please.Should I remove or change anything to fix this problem???

hmm,interesting...go to "Game Options" and choose your language and subtitle.Hope this solves your problem

I went to "Game Options" and There's only English as audio language however I can choose any language for the subtitle.

I've installed that crap just for you and applied the conversion. Deleted every other language except french and english. I set up subtitle, sound to french in main menu, where senseman said.

Other languages were also selectible however you will not hear them because they were deleted.

Everything was fine during gameplay.

I did second run with only french, deleted also english and it was also ok.

You possibly deleted french files too.. Like i said i tested with deutch and no sound, like your situation with french.

Make sure you will have following files in Sound_bin_PC:

localized_French.sndbig
localized_French.sndbig.report
localized_French_stream.sndbig
localized_French_stream.sndbig.report
nonlocalized.sndbig

I will not update this conversion anymore. This game is quite buggy, impossible to install the patches and play after conversion. :(

Is a solution to work with dlc and 1.7 ? 4xdvd5 is very bigger and you need to install every time all patches and so loooooong time wasted

1.7 script seems faulty...Please correct it..it's giving errors

Edit-I removed the lines which were giving errors...And added some basic lines(Game Path).Seems to get compiled now(#Update..After compile,when I run the the setup..it gives error of missing files which were supposed to be included(Which i removed from the script to make the script not give error at the first place).

Btw I think the registry entries are incomplete.Shouldn't it be like this ?

reg 1.7 is impossible btw i will upgraade only at 1.5 without dlcs ....works with this ?
