1) Extract 'REORC_1xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Launch Compress.bat & wait...

3) Move/Copy to 'REORC_DVD5\REORC' folder :

'FMV' folder from game's installation folder
'support' folder from DVD9

4) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

Morning peterf1999 can u give a little insight on how to use precomp and srep in script eg:using something like the witcher 2 script or using it in Fabioddq Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City (2xDVD5 - Inno + Freearc) for better comppression its something i would like to learn.if u dont ask u will never learn so all help will be much appreciated mate

This script is only an example (taken from isdone) of how to extract the archives files (*.bin) of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City conversion. Compiles the script and then put all the files (setup.exe Data1.bin...Data3.bin) in the same location to test the extraction.

problems here:
installed german version

after compressing is finished and I copied the support and fmv folder, my dvd is over 7gb (thats bigger than the original.)

data3.cab is over 4,5gb

what did I wrong?

Don't extract REORC_1xDVD5.7z contents into game folder, extract it elsewhere, where you have enough room.

EDIT: Never mind. After some idling it started to work again.

I don't understand why this installer takes less than 10mn decompress and complete the installation whyle max payne 3 4xDVD5 needs about 3 hours.

what i did was i installed the game in on folder and the pack in other folder and copy paste the dlc folder to the game folder.
after this i did the conversion.
then i uninstalled both.

for compress the game: first need to install the game, after this unpack the the conversion file on other folder. Double click compress bat and wait.

I've found a way to add pack2 to the batch...
modify the line of data2 like this:

updated game is now 4,07GB

Unfortunately on install process, pack2 is not decompressed from data2.bin...the installer needs a fix.
Also i've found that a new video MG_SPE01.bik is duble copied into both \pack1\FMW and pack2\FMW...so the installer must copy from FMV into both directory during install to save 30mb into the datax.bin
