1: Install The Game

2: FreeArc need to be installed on your system
http://freearc.org/Download.aspx

3: Download attachment Syndicate 2xDVD5.rar,extract completely (wherever you want)

4: Go to install directory/__Installer,move directx and vc folder to Syndicate_1/Redist

5: Go to install directory,run FreeArc,compress the following files

all files folders ( expect Content folder)

Output archive: Data1.cab
Compression: No compression -m0
Make exe: Not checked

5: Go to install directory/Content,run FreeArc,compress the following files

all files folders ( expect Textures folder)

Output archive: Data2.cab
Compression: No compression -m0
Make exe: Not checked

6: Go to install directory/Content,run FreeArc,compress the following files

Textures folder

Output archive: Data3.cab
Compression: HDD-speed: -m1 -s8m
Make exe: Not checked

7: Now Move Data1.cab,Data2.cab to Syndicate_1 folder
Move Data3.cab Syndicate_2 folder

8: Burn or make iso with same label names of temp folders

Install Sequence: DVD1-DVD2

DVD1 => 4,28 GB
DVD2 => 3.43 GB

Hi senseman... i have a problem while compressing the files with free arc... when it reaches 100%... it shows an error, i tried again and again but the same thing...

very nice convertion senseman..! have a problem when installation is finish can't locate the syndicate.exe in program menu and shortcut desktop.

im using win7 ultimate X64

game installed work fine on my XP SP3 but my shortcut on desktop get wrong path. I'm install game to D:\Syndicate\Syndicate\System\Win32_x86_Release but shortcut on desktop it point to D:\Syndicate\Syndicate\Syndicate.exe. So,how to fix this. Thank you

Game can be compressed to 1xDVD5 my size 4.08GB english only
.ogg movies are the same like wmv just rename .ogg to .wmv and convert
after that rename back to .ogg ;]

1st you need to reneame .ogg movies to .wmv (simple Right click on file change name and edit)

remember to make copy of all .ogg movies or remember that files !

2nd you need to encode all movies , I used program "Format Factory" great tool.
There is option in main menu
"All to WMV"

set video options like this:

Resolution 640x352
FPS 30
Audio Bitrate : Mono 96/128 kbps
Video Bitrate : 700kbps/ 600kbps
after that
rename back WMW files to .ogg Only those files have you previously rename from .ogg to WMV

Also delete Russian language (Content_Rus)

Ok next step its packing files

After all operations you done game size on HDD 8.5-9GB (maybe I wrong)
To pack I used this method :
FreeArc (m0)+ PreComp(-slow -c9 -m8 -o)+Srep(-m2)+FreeArc (-mx -ld1600m )
and of course I don't pack all 9GB on one archive (FreeARC m0) but I make archives about 2GB with Free Arc (m0)
becasue sometimes Precomp with larger files freezes or shoutdown

Thats all if you something don't understand always ask are masters of conversions

You can compress with freearc (-mx -ld800) all game's installation folder without video folders and XDF folder.
Then compress the XDF folder with arc(m0)+srep+pcf+arc(mx) (from 580Mb of the original folder to ~28Mb of the final archive :cool:)

Then... pray that all this stuff fills only a DVD5! :D

Anyway don't need to do pcf+srep on all archivies..
You can compress with freearc (-mx -ld800) all game's installation folder without video folders and XDF folder.
Then compress the XDF folder with arc(m0)+srep+pcf+arc(mx) (from 580Mb of the original folder to ~60Mb of the final archive :cool:)

Then... pray that all this stuff fills only a DVD5! :D

:D No no one day only 15-20 mins :D on my junk :D my size was 4.07GB :D

Why I create cab with freearc, the work's program is done but I can't find the cab? I tried to find it in all the pc, but there isn't!!! Is it a bug?

It fits on dvd5! precomp+srep+freearc(lzma compression)+3 ogg resampled :D:p

Hi, I followed the instruction perfectly, but during the installation with dvd1, the setup is blocked at about 30% (like the image below) and does not go forward without error message. How can I do?
