:confused:
Try to run the exe as administrator, or disable the UAC, this issue is related to your system.
The main code is the same as conversions like:
The witcher 2
Batman arkham city
Dead island
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
...

thanks peterf1999, installation and uninstallation worked well in windows 7 professional 32bit.
DVD1 size = 3.78 Gb
DVD2 size = 3.55 Gb (including crack and backup)
peterf1999 although it works fine, there are pixelized fullscreen gfx during installation. Also maybe it's time for paying more attention to font color selection :p

Krissz5435 it's not possible. There are 1.4GB of biks and 2GB of voices. Both are not-precompable :(

hey peterf how you add a splashscreen with format png in your the witcher 2 compiler
just open file in editor and save as (different format > bmp ) then the compiler will accept that splashscreen file, as it expects bmp files.

The official minimum system requirements of the game are:
Windows XP with Service Pack 3
Windows Vista with Service Pack 2
Windows 7 with Service Pack 1
You have win 7 without service pack, however you can ignore it :D

The problem probably is i'm using Win7 Gamer (with sp1) xD
anyway, the install are complete without any problem and the game run perfect ;)

Can I do the conversion with The Legend of Dead Ken Dlc ?
Intall the game and the dlc and then remake the conversion.
It should fit on 2 dvd5, you can also change the level of compression from -m3 to -m9 or -mx ;)

ice drops & logansama, dont extract archive into gamefolder, choose somewhere else on HD, AND when saving the archive, save it to where you extracted the archive to, if you dont it trys to save in gamefolder when your archiving the gamefolder. you end up with archive thats alot bigger then it should be.

no, i try to save ONLY the "content" folder, in fact, i do the compresion, as I said, and when i open the "data1.bin" with freeark, inside it has , obviously the "content" folder.. , anyway that is not the problem, now the problem is the error i get , when I want to install:
runtime error (at 239:14255):
error inteno "extract temporaryfile: the file "bgi0_.bmp" was not found"
thanks for the help
what could I do if the installer folder is not present in my instalation folder?also should I rename redistributable folder[that contains vc runtime] to vc folder?
You can use conversion with ALL DLC & Updates. Fit in 2 DVD5. I did try again conversion works perfectly with;
* Update 1.0.0.2
* Legend of Dead Kel DLC
* Teeth Of Naros DLC
Data1.bin = 4.13 GB
Data2.bin = 4.23 GB
but;
If you use original uninstall.exe file (compressed in data2.bin), cannot uninstall game.

If you have this error;

Remove This Reg Entry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA Games]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA Games\Amalur]
"Install_Path"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\EA Games\\Kingdoms of Amalur - Reckoning"

I think this is a DIY conversion.
Download and install freearc and compress the game files your self. use the method and options give in the main post/thread. then you're done.
