1) Extract 'DI_1xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Move from Game's installation folder :

'Redist' folder to 'Dead_Island_DVD5\DI' folder

3) From 'Dead_Island_DVD5 folder', create 'Data1.bin' archive:

e.g. arc a -ep -w.\ DI\Data1.bin -mprecomp:zl11,62,98:d1+srep+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d256m:fb 128:mc1000:lc8 "C:\Program Files\Techland\Dead Island\DI\Data\*.rpack"

4) From 'Dead_Island_DVD5' folder, create 'Data2.bin' archive:

e.g. arc a -ep1 -r -w.\ DI\Data2.bin -msrep+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d256m:fb128:mc1000:lc8 -x"C:\Program Files\Techland\Dead Island\DI\Data\*.rpack" "C:\Program Files\Techland\Dead Island\*"

5) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

The result is an amazing compression ratio: 1.9 gb:)

Aside the multi-language autorun (Which is cleary visible) and some different images, I see no reason to "swap" to PreComp->SRep->FreeArc when you can compress the entire game plus DLC only with FreeArc (http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p=400077&postcount=18) with the already avaliable custom installers.
Maybe the size reduction from ~2,55Gb to ~1,9Gb...

works great on windows 64 bit Sp1
I used a previous installer made here for original dead island
in which i added patch 1.2 so i installed the game using that
then installed the 2 dlc's and used peters installer here i added
bloodbath arena and also added Island ryder white to the
compression setup which made Data1.bin is 387 MB
Data2.bin is 1.89 GB the final iso size is 2.41 GB
takes some time to install depending on your system but it all works

Well, you can use this script or the other one made by peterf1999 (http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=91904). It does not really matter.

Game does not contain "Game of the Year" note anywhere in-game. It's basically same game released with all DLCs together (so you won't have to download them separately) and it's patched to last version.

Personally, I took this installer and used compression from the other topic.
Size of files is:
Data1.bin - 797 MB (836.565.801 bytes)
Data2.bin - 2,14 GB (2.303.239.588 bytes)

Installation lasts about 6-8 minutes.

BTW peter1999 - Can You update some conversions with polish langauge? Like this here, Bulletstorm, Portal 2, BioShock 2, CoD: Black Ops concretely? Did you updated the WHOLE script (You only updated the Autorun in Witcher 2)? Sorry I'm stubborn, but I really want to raise the quality of your conversions & make them comfortable for Polish users. The second point is that games I mentioned - Dead Island & Bulletstorm are Polish made games. The rest are very popular games and I think that will be good, if they we're Polish. If you haven't got time for that - I will understand that, but just post it. It's better to hear (or in forum - "see") it, instead of ZERO response.

make a bat file ( named it whatever you want ) put the line in it save it. just make sure path to game matches your gamepath. the bat file will be in same place where you extracted file from post #1.
