Saints Row: The Third (2x DVD5) *INNO+RAR*

1) Extract 'SRTT_2xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Move from Game's installation folder :

'DirectX' folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder
'videos' folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder
all files in the root of the Game's installation folder to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1\binaries' folder

3) Launch Winrar and then compress the following files in 'packfiles\pc\cache' folder:

cutscenes.vpp_pc
sounds_common.vpp_pc
sr3_city_0.vpp_pc
voices.vpp_pc

Output archive: Data1.bin
Compression Method: Fast
Archive format: RAR

and then compress all files (except the files already compressed in Data1.bin) in 'packfiles\pc\cache' folder:

Output archive: Data2.bin
Compression Method: Fast
Archive format: RAR

4) Move 'Data1.bin' to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1' folder & 'Data2.bin' to 'SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk2' folder

5) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

Steam backup you can select size (DVD5) ;)
and he will make you 2x DVD5 ;)

you DONT add all files in the root of the game pack to winrar.. you MOVE them to the binaries subfolder of where you extracted peter's archive..

IE: F:\SRTT_2xDVD5\Disk1\binaries

So, i have a bug in introduction (like the Star Wars), the screen goes black and does not show up the letters.
So I press ESC and skip normally the introduction and continue the game, this is what happened because I includes reslists folder?
Any solution? Sorry my english...

3) Launch Winrar and then compress the following 4 files in 'packfiles\pc\cache' folder, into a winrar archive named Data1.bin: cutscenes.vpp_pc, sounds_common.vpp_pc,
sr3_city_0.vpp_pc, voices.vpp_pc. Use fast for compression setting.

Then make another archive named Data2.bin and compress ALL THE OTHER files except for the first 4 that are in the archive Data1.bin.

Yea I had the same problem with the converted version.
So when i compared the original with the conversion i noticed the "videos" folder copied properly but renamed to "video" without the "s".
I manually renamed it back to "videos" on the conversion installation and now works 100%.
Not sure if Peter picked it up in his conversion or not. Anyways great job. Wish i could do what you do.

When I run the Setup of the Conversion Edition,After Extracting the Videos,The setup gives an error that It could not find vcredist_x86.exe in the Binary\ Folder.So if I put vcredist_x86.exe(Found from other game setups) in the Binary Folder,During setup everything goes fine and vcredist_x86.exe gets installed.But the problem is that vcredist_x86.exe file also gets copied in the Root Game Directory after Installation.

The FULL PACKAGE is just a series of additional content that further enhances the game. Things like wardrobe, vehicles, weapons etc.

That content will be in your game folder, and as the conversion uses installed games files, that content should be included. Easiest way to find out for sure is to follow the conversion as posted & see if re-installing it that content is avaliable. Post the results so others know the answer.
