Driver San Francisco DVD9 -> 2xDVD5 Converter

1. Install the game, install all patches and insert DVD

2. Download attachment, extract completely(wherever you want) and launch converter.exe.

3. Select the drive, where the TEMP folder should be and click on "Convert"
-> You can enable Create Iso function

4. Burn temp folder or burn the ISO file

DVD1 = 4.26 GB
DVD2 = 3.20 GB

FINISHED!!!:D:D:D

I have a problem, when i run converter, and when he come to the Data2.cab he says: ERROR: write error (disk full?) in compression alghorithm tempfile. Can someone help me about this problem. I checked how much i have free gb on hdd, and i have place for conversion, so it's something else ;)

EDIT2: I'd ask to correct the "Englisch" as seen in the language selection screenshot (http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/8104/scr1i.jpg) before compiling the installer again...
But the installer runned in Deutsch. Sorry the mistake XD

Change back to disc 1 and click retry, installation finished.

OK dudes bug fixed completely.

@KillerOh it starts in system language -> my one german.
therefore everything was german. updated already screenshot.

i included the patch to the installation.
so installer contains updated regitry info....

if you already did the conversion, put it to DSF_DVD1. Not to original dvd.

its no more prossible to update.
problem: original setup generates a key which allows you to update the game :mad:

@sstanke compression needs free space (even 5-6GB) in TEMP folder which is usualy placed on C: so free some space on it or set TEMP on another drive:
Control Panel ---> System ---> Advanced System Settings ---> (TAB) Advanced ---> Environment Variables (it's only translation from polish, I don't know this names in another-lang Windows)

Not ok is i can NOT INSTALL the updade.

uninstall from coversion & reinstall from DVD9 + update. Then re-do the conversion to dvd5 ( includes the update & still works fine )

It's working great. Thx for conversion.

The thing is, first You need to install the game, then to update the game (download patch from website), then use the conversion. And thats it.
Just tried on my win7x86 and works great. Only it took me while to finish conversion. About half an hour or more. And install process is much slower witch is normally considering compress ratio.
Only thing thats changed is menu during installation. But its great. I think he made a new menu with original music.
Once again thx for conversion.

That's because the reg value is for 1.00 and even if you have 1.02 installed at the time of conversion, future updates (or current ones) can't tell the difference...

The "Driver.exe" game executable is checked in the installation folder.
If the name of the executable is not Driver.exe, edit the Converter.ini file to key:
CheckSourcePF=Driver.exe
