For this procedure you need 25GB of free space on C:\ drive

1. Run setup and select 'English' language (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) and install game (select 'Custom Installation') to 'C:\The Witcher 2' (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) and install patch to the game
2. Download and install Inno setup from here (http://www.jrsoftware.org/isdl.php)
3. Download and extract attachment on bottom
4. Run "witcher 2 inno" and press 'compile' and wait (picture below)

This process could run even hours depending on your PC

5. After compile finish, go to 'C:\THE WITCHER 2 SETUP' where new setup is created and make folders:
DISK1
DISK2
DISK3
6. Move to folder DISK1:
setup.exe
setup-1a
setup-1b
setup-1c
to 'DISK2':
setup-1d
setup-2a
setup-2b
to 'DISK3':
setup-2c
setup-2d
setup-3a
7. Make autorun.inf and copy and paste this in it:
[autorun]
open=setup.exe
icon=setup.exe
8. From 'DISK1' copy and paste to 'DISK2' and 'DISK 3':
setup.exe
autorun.inf
9. In 'DISK2' and 'DISK3' edit 'autorun.inf' to look like this:
[autorun]
open=0
icon=setup.exe
10. Copy from DVD9 disk2 'vcredist_x86' and 'DirectX' folder to 'DISK3'

11. Burn or make iso with label of your choice

- YOU CAN CHANGE TO YOUR LANGUAGE EASILY BY RUNNING 'The Witcher 2\bin\Configurator.exe' AFTER INSTALLATION FROM CONVERTED SETUP (3XDVD5)

- This is not fully tested (partial tested on MULTI5 version) of the game, so write down if you have some isues.
- If you dont prefer 'C:\' as conversion and installation folder make sure that you change all letters from 'C:\' to letter of your choice ('D:\' or 'E:\', etc...) in the script file!

This is mine first conversion so don't mind if i missed out something :D

i have no space for installing game in drive c

can i change drive c in to another drive in witcher 2 inno.iss

yes, make sure that all letters are changed

this conversion is for all languages, you can change your language that you selected by running 'The Witcher 2\bin\Configurator.exe
Can mods change title and from CD/DVD Conversions root from 'English only *INNO SETUP*' to 'MULTI5 *INNO SETUP*' ?

hi if i change in the inno script EN to IT can i install the game in italian language and then do all the procedure?

edit: is it also possible to compress anymore during the procedure so we can fit in 2 dvd5?

Yes you can, and if you wont even installer to be in Italian language just don't forget to change line from:

[Languages]
Name: "english"; MessagesFile: "compiler:Default.isl"

to

[Languages]
Name: "italian"; MessagesFile: "compiler:Default.isl"

compression is LZMA, i don't think that can be more compressed than that :confused:

Delete these lines from Witcher 2 inno -

Filename: "{app}\vcredist_x86.EXE"; StatusMsg: "Installing Visual C++ 2005..."
Filename: "{app}\DirectX\DXSETUP.EXE"; StatusMsg: "Installing DirectX..."

You can add this file/folder to DVD3, and install it manualy later, after game installation.

Tested it, and it works. No errors.

Where do these lines come from? Will they be auto-generated after the compilation or I have to type in? I have the images of this game and I also want to fit it in two DVD5 disks. Please help. Thanks all

And yes, these "lines" are actually the generated files after a sucessful compiling. :D

i got one more file ''setup-3b.bin''.I think,after i updated the game with the last patches,the programme gave me one more .bin file.How will i create the disks now?Shall i make four disks ;
disk1: setup.exe+1a+1b
disk2:1c+1d+2a
disk3:2b+2c+2d
disk4:3a+3b

do you think,this will work?or do you suggest something else?Thank you.

there 4xdvd5 or try reading the WHOLE thread & you'll find how to make a 4xdvd5 version using supplied files.

I am completely confused now,i made it;

disk1: autorun.inf + setup.exe + 1a.bin + 1b.bin

disk2: autorun.inf + setup.exe + 1c.bin + 1d.bin + 2a.bin

disk3: autorun.inf + setup.exe + 2b.bin + 2c.bin + 2d.bin

disk4: autorun.inf +setup.exe + directX + VCREDİST_X86.EXE + 3a.bin + 3b.bin

if this will not work,would you tell me the correct formula please,thanks for your helps.:o

the setup.exe ONLY needs to be on disk1.

the autorun.inf for disk2-4 change in it open=setup.exe to open=0. otherwise what you have listed above should work fine.
