View Full Version : Is there a working no-cd crack for CoH:OP updated to 2.601?

Hello everyone!

I have a problem I have CoH OF patched to version 2.601 and Eastern front expansion installed. Yesterday my CD/DVD combo drive died after a long and painfull illness (RIP aug 2008 - nov 2010). There were symptoms, first I couldn't burn new discs and now it won't read them at all.

Anyways I plan on buying a new one as soon I spare some cash but it would be nice if I could play game in meanwhile. I searched for no-cd fixes and then found this site but there are only no cd cracks for 2.301 version and these don't work for me.

p.s. I don't play on-line and I don't want to register to Relic to play SP...

yeah, I did. Tried the mini image idea but it didn't work for me for some reason. I'm using daemon-lite so I can't enable Virtual IDE device and that may be the reason, But Khannis didn't say exactly what worked so I dunno. . guess I'll have to wait.

Have fun waiting, there will be no updated fix. Also buying a new dvd drive isn't this expensive, you don't have 20 bucks? Or maybe buy dt pro ;)

I didn't meant waiting for the fix but for new dvd-rom. Anyways I got it and everything is good so thread closed. :)

I've been looking for a 2.601 no-CD crack for this for over a year now. I made the v2.601 fixed .exe that's on GCW (under '?' because I forgot to give my name when I submitted it), but you still have to use the mini image with that because some DLLs need cracking as well and I can't figure out which ones or what needs changing (I don't know anything about cracking, the fixed .exe simply prevents the game from accessing the Relic servers to validate online, which forces a disk check instead, and then the DLLs need cracking to skip the disk check).

Anyway, all I can say is that the mini image works fine for me with Daemon Tools Lite, so that's not the problem you were having. But I guess you don't need to figure it out if you're happy with the disk in your brand new DVD drive!
