USBMOD not working in top slot??????

My USBMOD is not flashing in the top slot but it is flashing in the bottom slot. It should be in the top slot and because of this problem I am not able to play my backups. Does anyone else know why this is happening? I would really apprecaite the help as i feel like throwing my PS2 out the window.

As i stated in your previous post the jumper wire is not connected correctly. Reopen the PS2 and check the solder points to be sure the wires are attached to the correct pins
