I do believe it work in W7 x64. Make sure you applied all the patches and updated your system drivers and then try again.

If you can work MW2, than WaW should work.

Make sure your Creative drivers are up to date.

Unusual for you to give up when you just bought a game, or did you?

I dont have a Creative card anymore its Realtek on-board sound and yes I DID BUY the game about a year ago..It has been running on Wi XP PRO up till now..The worst thing I think I ever did was go to WIN7..I should go back to XP.....:(

Win7 is fine.

What happened to your X-FI card? Thats so much better than the onboard. But I do believe Realtek has Windows 7 drivers.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

Its the very top option.

try to lower the sample rate to dvd quality 16bit 48hz. in control panel - sound - preferences of your speaker - advanced

Helped for a lot of other games, saw for instance, just a weird crash and not full understandable why to lower the sample rate, as simple is it.

I messed up the Creative registry settings and it wont recognize my card and I dont feel like re-installing the OS...:(

Or switch off EAX support and/or upgrade or downgrade (!) your EAX driver?

Creative drivers are a bitch for sure but you could try uninstalling and reinstalling them. I don't recommend "manual uninstallation" - weeding out registry entries and files by hand - but that's also an option. (My Windows XP was installed 5 years ago and I managed to fix all weird behavior so far.)

I know how you can get your card to be seen again, uninstall the realtek drivers, restart PC with your x-fi card in and install creative drivers.
