I got the mini image from Gcw today, but I can't seem to get it to mount in Deamon Tools lite 4.30.4, can it really be that it will only work in poweriso?

Btw. I have purchased the game legally but I would like to play without the disc in the drive, and since I have a online profile on Bioware's Social network attached to my installation, I don't feel comfortable with using the nocd file available on Gcw.
So, if somebody can confirm that this image don't work outside Poweriso and maybe direct me to a possible other mini image I will be grateful :)

Thats a usual error for an older DT, with the newest version is should be no problem.

I shall try out the mini-image myself.

EDIT: Its a PowerISO file, you have to use PowerISO

Mounting mdf file is working with DT. Also the game only have Disc Check, therefore user can create his own file.

MDF file got created by UltraISO 9.3 (you see it when opening mdf with notepad).

Yep, but I couldnt get it to work on DT, PowerISO was the one that worked for me... I dont need the mini-image anyways, since mine is from EA Stores.

I know that the image only works with poweriso, but since this is the first time in several years that I have an image that D-Tools can't read, I'm not gonna change to poweriso just for this one game.
My hope is that somebody will upload an alternative mini image to gcw, or somebody will give the info I need to make one myself as I am clueless to how you do that.

I've downloaded the mini-image just to check and I can mount it with DT Lite.
If you use the .mdf to load the image DTLite gives you an error, but checking the .mds I relize it's plain iso, so, if you rename the .mds to .iso, DTLite can load it without any problem.
Don't know if the game will load but DTLite open an explorer window with some files inside.

I just tried you method and I can see some "files" in the mini image just like you described, but the game still asks for game disc.

But thx for trying :)

I took msf or mds, both dont work. renaming it in iso dont work then, cos its no mds "included" which "infos" you need for emulating.

Sry, im a little confused, playing all night cod6, lol.

The Multi2 mini doesn't work with the Multi8 anyway ;)

Attached a mini for the Multi8 version.
