Ankh 3 - Battle of Gods spanish - problems with copy protection

I have pasted over the Ankh-BOG.exe from http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_ankh_3.shtml

suppose to be for all languages.
I get a message saying -
To launch the application, you need to install protection drivers on your computer. Would you like to install them now?

Can I bypass CD protection if I delete the protection files ? or is there another patch still being worked on ?

Also will it work on Xp pro ? or only on Vista ?

well this thread is only for reporting protection on a particular game / update
if you got that message then i doubt it replaced the file properly

deleting the protection files will not allow you to play the game without protection, its not that simple

as for another patch being worked on.. we have no idea, we just host the files, we are not in contact with cracking times

and xp pro or vista, it says the supported os on your box.. you do have one don't you?
