Error when trying to replace .exe.

Hey guys Quick question. I have never had this problem before when applying a nocd to a game, but i also just recently updated to windows vista so im thinking that is why. Anyway, the problem is i execute the .exe into the folder it should go into, then i get this error

! C:\Users\computer room\Desktop\grurct2cd.rar: Cannot create rct2.exe
! Access is denied.
! C:\Users\computer room\Desktop\grurct2cd.rar: Cannot create grurct2cd.nfo
! Access is denied.
! C:\Users\computer room\Desktop\grurct2cd.rar: No files to extract
it wont let me replace it. Help?

might need to be done from an admin account.. have you tried that?

yes i am on the admin account when this occurs. Any other suggestions?

Virus scanner conflicting => switch it off termporarily. NTFS permission problems => uncompress to a FAT drive, e.g. a pen drive.

If your using vista, turn off UAC... Goto START > CONTROL PANEL > ACCOUNTS > Select an account you use from list and bottom option is to turn off UAC.

UAC stops people from extracting things into certain folders.

But I think Joe is right, probably AV has blocked it... So set your game folder as an exception, so when the crack is pasted there it should be ok.

Yes, turn off UAC, and/or right klick on this dir, and set security permissions...
