This game uses Tages activation, so I assume the disc can be made using just simple "ISO" rather then Tages profile with DT Pro. As far as I can tell the disc does not have the Tages "fingerprint" on it like other disc based Tages. (Since this one uses online activation.) If the Tages profile is used with DT Pro, the DPM takes a LOOOOOONG time, which is a sign that Tages is not on the disc. Right ? Because it normally takes a very short time when the Tages profile extracts the DPM. I ask, because I wanted to confirm in case there was Tages on the disc as well (Tages disc check) so maybe in the future they can release a patch that will use a disc check instead of online activation, maybe years from now when they don't want to maintain the activation server or pay for it. But since DT Pro seems to "fail" using Tages profile I assume there is no disc check - and never will be.

For example the last Settlers (6, IIRC) had both (only one was used depending if you had active internet connection when launching the game or not) Tages online activation and a Tages disc check.
So I thought maybe this game also had both. But best I can tell it only has online activation.
CONFIRM!!

They can't release a patch which is switching the game to use disc check as no Tages data on the disc itself.

So making a basic "data disc" with just about any program (ie: Nero) for this game is OK ? If you have the game what profile would you use with DT Pro, anyway ?

Any profile is fine.

We know this disc does not have a Tages disc check. But if it did, would DT Pro be able to make a good profile ? Because to my knowledge it is the first Tages disc to be dual layer. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Can DT Pro handle dual layer Tages discs ? Or is that unknown ?

I think you work for DT, no ?

It is not the first Tages game on dual-layer dvd (e. g. Silverfall) and DT Pro can handle it.

Good, glad to hear it.
