The 'BATTERY' release (v2.501.0) works perfectly but to activate (owning an original DVD) the old mission in particular Opposing Fronts requires the original DVD to be inserted every time you start the game - or the mini-image (not for the 1st CoH campaign, that once activated with the original DVD and CD-Key, don't ask the DVD anymore)...
the files that need to be cracked (for a NoDVD patch of the old campaigns and in particular Opposing Fronts) seems to be the .\validators\hcro\hcro.dll (that is very similar to the 'BATTERY' cracked udro.dll) - using the same tecnique I have patched it - and the .\validators\rs\rs.dll that is a totally different protection... If someone think that using the 'FAiRLiGHT' rs.dll from the CoH Opposing Fronts 2.xxx will be OK, that's not the case...
hoping someone could make a full NoDVD release (with all the campaigns NoDVD working - owning a legitimate CD-Key of course) of this great game

After you unlock the OF campaign you don't need the OF/ToV DVD on drive or the mini-image mounted.
Just login and play.

I've spent all last night but for me it doesn't work: I install CoH-ToV, then I install the patch 2.501.0 then the BATTERY NoDVD crack, then I authorize the CoH-ToV only with the CD-Key (because of the applyed no DVD crack), then I authorize with the original DVD (CoH-OF DVD) the OF campaign - the game after you insert the CD-Key ask for the original DVD (and it says authorized), then I authorize the CoH campaign (the very 1st Company of Heroes game) with the original CoH DVD and it works...
I close the game and the next time I re-launch CoH-ToV it ask the DVD of CoH-OF to made a check (not the DVD of the 1st CoH, nor the CoH-ToV DVD)... If I insert for the check the Original DVD of CoH-OF (or I mount the mini-image) the game starts and all campaigns are available but every time I have to re-insert the original CoH-OF DVD.
Many people are complaining about this problem in other internet forums... it seems very strange to me that you have been able to bypass this... but let me know your steps...

If the game found an internet connection it will request your login and password (exactly like when OF came out). However, many ppl surpasses that "protection" turning off the modem or changing the hosts file.
There's no workaround. Relic made it that way and if you go to the relic forums (use the search first) they explain everything there.
So, If you have a real CD-Key then you don't need to insert the DVD/mount the image. Just login & play!

Yes, as you described it works (I've tryed) but you have to have a connection active every time you start the game... I usually have a FireWall that block any outgoing traffic... if we thought like you also the crack from 'BATTERY' of the CoH Tales of Valor game isn't useful, here we are fan of NoCD (NoDVD) cracks (and how to do them)... this is the reason why GCW and GCW forum exist (at least this what I belive)...
Anyway thanks for your reply.

I use cracks and similar to avoid CD/DVD scratching or even broken (happens once - game wasn't good anyway) but when it comes to on-line activated game or similar cracks aren't needed that's why GCW doesn't hosts them.
Am not against cracks (they are a "prove" of ppl skills) but against the way they get distributed by the "scene" (inside the whole game).
Anyway... have fun playing the Tiger Ace campaign (short but cool)
