Hi I'm pretty new here and I'm not really good at any of this so I just want to know how do I play my Civ IV game without the cd??

I tried to replace the file archive with the original .exe that came with the game but its giving me an access denied error... I guess its a copyright protection so what do I do???? :(

Install the game and replace the EXE on the hard disk, in the installation directory of the game. Read the PC Games forum FAQ.
