911 First responders- crashes after into sequence

My 911 First responders plays the start up movie but then cuts back to windows when it should start the game.

Any advice anyone?

happens when using the original disk and original exe?

Are there any settings I can 'tweak'?

Game starts fine. Watch all the intro but then it closes to windows.
