BOLT (DVD9 to 2x DVD5)

Bolt (Multi) DVD9 to 2xDVD5 :


DVD1:

- Copy all files & folders from Bolt disc to your temp folder

- Delete 26 files from x:\setup\data_dx\fmv\EN_NTSC\60 ( .BIK video )

- Extract & replace 26 files deleted above with the attachments below

- After that,burn all data in the temp folder with any label you want


DVD2:

- Copy folder data_dx from Bolt_disc:\setup to another temp folder,add crack/patch and burn with any label too


*Install the game with disc 1,after finished copy & replace the data_dx folder on DVD2 to installation directory.Play & enjoy !

It's not askink for dvd 2!!
Just install from dvd1 and after the installation it's finish copy the content from dvd 2 in the installation folder.
But it's working!

Looking by those ini's, it looks exactly like pure, prince caspian installs. So here is one conversion to try

BOLT DVD9 to 2xDVD5

disk 1

1) Copy DVD content to temp folder, example: BOLT

2) Create disk1.txt to BOLT and BOLT\Setup folders

BOLT\disk1.txt
BOLT\Setup\disk1.txt

3) Edit install.ini with notepad and do these changes

Change FileCount=36 to FileCount=37

Change
;; Install Optional files
36=*.bik,FILE,NULL,data_dx\fmv\EN_NTSC\60\,data_dx \fmv\EN_NTSC\60\,U,3to

;; Install Optional files
36=CDSWAP, 2
37=*.bik,FILE,NULL,data_dx\fmv\EN_NTSC\60\,data_dx \fmv\EN_NTSC\60\,U,3Save changes

4) Move data_dx folder from BOLT\setup\ to safe place

5) Burn or make image from BOLT folder with label: DISNEY BOLT

disk 2

6) Move data_dx folder back to BOLT\setup\

7) Rename disk1.txt to disk2.txt

BOLT\disk2.txt
BOLT\Setup\disk2.txt

8) Delete data2.cab and data3.cab

Optional: Edit autorun.inf and change 'open' to 'open=0'

9) Burn or make image from BOLT folder with label: : DISNEY BOLT

Install sequence: DVD1-DVD2

instalation copies those .bik files when custom\full installation selected.

btw disc labels should be DISNEY BOLT as original.

Install the game - Full Installation.
Replace the original DISNEYBOLTPC.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
Play the Game!

Thanks again ravd, your conversion works 100%. For nodvd crack I use DisneyBoltPC.exe (reloaded), and DisneyBolt.exe (battery) to make game work without dvd in drive. Both files are on gamecopyworld.

Do Custom/FULL installation if you want bik files to hdd also

If you do standard install it will leave those bik files to DVD and reads them there during gameplay

I create the disk1.txt disk2.txt ?..... and do not understand
which should contain within them?

You dont need to put anything in the texts files, just create the text files with the names "disk1" & "disk2" and put them in the folders like Ravd says and the conversions will work fine.
