File Type FILE

I am having a problem finding out how to veiw a file named with the file type FILE I have looked everywhere one the internet and I still cant find any information if anyone has any info on this type and how to open it I would greatly appreciate it.

try to open it with notepad (I recomend using NotePad++ since it's faster loading & dealing with big files).

1. Where does the file come from?
2. Can you quote us its first few bytes in hexadecimal? (If you don't know how to do that, run od -N 32 -x FILENAME, using the GNU "od" utility: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/coreutils.htm.)
3. Try to identify it with the GNU "file" utility: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/file.htm.
4. Also search for "file type identifier" on Google and try some of the hits.
