call of duty world at war error

Hi,

I installed the game, and cracked it with the [English] Crack. But when I start the CoDWaW.exe, the CoD Console pops up and shows me this message:

How can I play the game with the crack? If anyone knows an answer, please tell me ;)

You didn't crack anything - you only applied one.

Try with original dvd instead.

I'm sure that I cracked the game. I overwrited the old .exe with the one i downloaded.

It works with original DVD, but i want to crack the game.

Overwriting original exe with a downloaded crack is not cracking. You only applied the cracked.

Cracking is when you are removing the protection yourself.

Okay, and how can I play the game, without inserting the DVD?

Because I don't want to change the DVD, everytime I want to play a game.

Go to your device manager in control panel
in the sound properties disable your modem's sound
it solved mine:D

i have the same problem, i read that must change something in control panel in sound but i cant find what if have to change.
