I wanted to ask is there some winrar password cracker that doesnt take 9 hours to crack it ?

And why would you want a winrar password cracker?

Besides depending on how many characters the password has it will take a long time to even find the correct password.

15+ characters can take months upto a year.

If you have absolutely no idea about what the password can be (length, characters included) then, with brute force, cracking a RAR archive with a long enough password can take years. You see, that's the point. ;)

Hey, sorry about hijacking this thread, but I made a multi part back up rar file of my (USED TO BE ORIGINAL) Painkiller Overdose till my m8 who was a dikhead and cracked the dvd in shattering pieces. Good thing I had this backup still. But the problem is I forgot the password for it. I know it is 5 characters (I am very protective with my computer) and the game rar backup is 2.5GB. I downloaded the winrar password cracker demo from its official website by google search. And the problem is that when I add it as a new project, it says it can't as the file is too big. Anybody know here what similar program can crack a small password on a a bigass game file? 2.5GB?

5 characters arent that great for protection.

But I dont think there is any free password crackers out there. But no doubt this will close now since if you read the rules no original no help unfortunately.
