Hi there,

I have a problem mounting .mdf dvd images with any Tool possible.
Everytime i mount such a file, the programs report an error "Unalbe to mount image". I tried many images and it happens all the time...but it works fine with .iso, .bin and these cd formats. What might be the problem ?

Give us an example from the mini/maxi images that can be downloaded from GCW. Also, what operating system, what version of Daemon Tools; have you tried re-installing Daemon Tools; have you tried the same on another PC? Improvize!

.mdf-files almost ever comes together with an .mds-file.
You have to choose the .mds-file for mounting.

Damon Tools has separate DLL's for mounting different types of disk image. Perhaps, the one responsible for MDS/MDF files was missing/corrupted...
