Hi,

I got this crack but it opens the intro credits, but then if I roll over singleplayer it just crashes, and I even got once the first level half way loaded and it crashed. Is there only one version of this backup?

Well, I have same problem. My video card is GeForce 7600GT with 169.04 drivers. Maybe it cause the problem, because it`s beta version. But without these drivers I can`t play TimeShift :/

Ok, thanks everyone for help, but I`ve found what cause that problem!

Simply, go to the main folder where you installed the game. Then, go to "miles" folder. Here, you must find file mssmp3. Rename it to mssmp3.bak

After this, the game will fully working!

The best drivers so far are 169.04beta. Optimized for COD4.

Btw, which error were you gettin so you did this file backup?

Well, when "Create Player Profile" screen appears, the game chrashes to Windows with application error, but when you rename this mssmp3 file everything should be ok.

that would imply an audio issue, either driver or codec no?

It should be an audio issue, but I`m not sure. I think that Activison forgot to change amplification of this file.

Activision games right now have a problem with sound being too grainy or hollow, not to mention some of their value range games dont even initialise its own screen the games run in the taskbar. Its weird lol
